Good question - hey, Carl, you might need to post a Saturday list and a Sunday list - and ask for two sets of volunteers (who can be the same people or not - I'll do reg. both days, fwiw...).

Signed up for the points event, though Saturday looks like a ton of fun. Great idea.

It would be best if you found someone else to tow the trailer. I can't guarentee that I will be in the country, or if I am whether I will have a drivers license. It is all related to immigration issues. What a pain!

Carl, I realize I'm the event co-chair, but go ahead and mark me for timing. I can do the timing setup while you bark orders at the other workers.

Sounds good! I made my original worker post have two lists. One for Sunday and one for Saturday. Any other volunteers?

I should probably mention some of the benefits with picking a work assignment. You probably won't shag cones! What's that mean? That means you get to hang out and wander the paddock (while staying out of the way of cars) and talk to everyone and/or take pictures, eat left over lunch, have a pepsi, or whatever you feel like doing!

If you are a newcomer I encourage you to volunteer to help set up the course with some of the experienced guys. It's a great way to learn the best line on the course, and while most people will have only walked the course a couple of times, you will have walked it the entire time YOU set it up!

In that case I'll volunteer for setup on sunday.

This is the 12 hours of sebring weekend might be why the numbers are still a little low. I may show up on sunday since I have to head back early from Sebring anyways.

Not sure I can make the Saturday event, (it's Benito Juarez Birthday 8) ) but you can put me down for registration on Sunday.

Sunday Tech Inspection Requirement: Car color must be New Formula Red. For safety reasons.

Put me down for safety both days. Good opportunity for one of our less-experienced safety types to get some experience as an alternate.

I'll do supplies both days - just get me a list.

I also know a GREAT BBQ guy that will be happy to bring his smoker and ribs to the event. He has catered a party or two at my house, and his ribs rock.
