Pics Have Arrived! Another great event, but I think I left a lot on the track today. The r-compounds where a whole new experience. Was fun to say the least.

Excellent event!

Beautiful weather, expeditious execution, tasty desert, and a challenging course!

Thanks!

Additionally, it may appear my 7th run is ~10 seconds off-possibly swapped with another??? I don't believe it to be quicker than my others, but may lend credence to the other poster with a concern.

See you at SPC.

:D

Thanks for the pic Eric! We may have to set up the course together more often. That went super smooth!

I should have been more relaxed on my last run, I probably could have gotten a bit quicker of a time. Regardless, I now know that those tires do NOT have high speed stability. They aren't too bad a low speed, but over 40mph, it's just not the same as good rubber. It's cool though. I had an absolute blast and I can feel myself getting chubbier from the Mykonos. See you at the next one!

I'm super pumped that everyone enjoyed my course. :D

Eric, thanks for the picture of the "cop" car. Carl certainly drives as though he's heading to a 911 call.

I'm looking forward to chairing another event. I'm hooked!

We allow for drivers to miss two events (lowest two event scores are dropped)...
After a fair bit of discussion, I think we left it at one drop score.

Intriguing. Even with that, I "think" I've got F class locked up.

Thanks for a great event! Those sandwiches were yum x2. Alexis, super-challenging course. Well done!

Thanks to everyone that let me ride along. Big thanks to my passengers/navigators/instructors. Your advice is always appreciated. Keep telling me, it will sink in eventually!

Oh, yeah, whoever put the hand sanitizer in the skunkworks, good looking out!

Wow, just looked at my videos. I don't think I could have been more jerky and off line. I guess I was expecting the tires to do more, but I think they were fine, just my driving was way off.

Here's how to not to do it...without spinning out. Link now works...

Great course Thanks to everyone who help put it together. Had a great time even though my car didn't want to go were I was telling it to.

Eric, the link is messed up. It says the video is private and I can't see it.

Congratulations to Charles on FTD.

Really? I know for a while the going consensus was to drop the 3 lowest scores. I think two is most reasonable personally.

IIRC, at the last "membership" meeting, it was discussed and it was decided not to change it from one.
Someone please correct me if I DNRC. 8)

Either way, it can be revisited this August if folks want.

Congrats, Charles, also for FTD! And Chris, I heard you wrapped up the class G championship today - well done!
Thanks, I found that if I set up correctly going into the chicago box after the turn-around I could go wide open from that box all the way into that braking zone on the return side. As I'm sure the course workers can attest :), there was quite a bit of wheelspin involved but not enough that I couldn't keep the car pointing in the right direction.

I also realized on my 2nd run that overcooking the entry into the section after the last chicago box on the way out resulted in understeer city and tons of lost time.

It looks like the Wheelers are starting to get a handle on that Stalker!

Aside from a few timing glitches out of our control, the event ran well, thanks to Alexis and Jamie.
