Thanks to the organizers, course designer, and Jamie for finding lunch for us and then tracking me down as we were leaving. This was my first event with FAST and certaily won't be the last. You guys have a great group and put on a good show.

Another great one... as usual! Had a great time...really enjoyed this course layout. Thank you to everyone who took the time to give me pointers or ride with me and tell me ways to improve (who lets go of the wheel?!?). I can't wait for the next one!

"It's not the car, it's the driver." No matter how many times I hear it or say it, I never knew how true it could be until yesterday. OK, results are out. Eric G drove our car and cut over 3 seconds off our best times, coming in 7th overall. He would have won class G if he had run in our bracket. Now that we know what our car can do, I guess we'll have to work harder to get it done!

RIZZULTS, yo.

Congrats to Jeremy for FTD!

I didn't realize I hit so many cones...the competition in E2 is gonna be interesting.

As for me:
March '10 - no Hawaiian shirt - second place
April '10 - Hawaiian shirt - first place
May '10 - Hawaiian shirt - first place
Sept '10 - no Hawaiian shirt - fourth place

You are so right. Over the years, I've let numerous people drive, or co-drove, my car with me. I've been beaten every time, except once, I think. All those folks spending big money to mod their cars to make them faster, tisk tisk.

And here's the POINTS TABLE

Please remember, any corrections must be requested prior to the next event. So, look over the table carefully, and let us know if you see anything that doesn't look right.

And thanks to Kenny and Jeremy for getting the results and points up so quick-like!

Wow. I thought I'd won my class by like 2/10ths, but Evan wasn't in my class. So, I'd have won HIS class (E3) by 2/10ths and I won my class by... much more than I expected.

Must have been that slow, tight "Yaris course" that I designed.

It's probable that the only person with less horsepower was Tim McArthur....

The classic Mini and the MGB for sure, though they're not lugging around 2300 pounds of econobox, either.

Maybe I should spend that $3k on a supercharger kit?

There's 5 or 6 guys that can win E2 it's gonna come down to who gets lucky and turns the cleanest run so I'm going to buy the ugliest Hawaiian shirt I can find

I almost wore my Hawaiian shirt, but it's dark and I think I would have died in the FL sun. I may have to try this theory out when it gets a tad bit cooler. 8)

Loren wrote: The difference in hand position between you and Charles is interesting. Charles is a hardcore shuffler. You only reposition when absolutely necessary.
The steering ratio is much slower in the 240 compared to his s2000 so I suspect he'll get himself crossed up at least once or twice in my car and be forced into a little shuffle from time to time.

Thanks to all that put in a long day to pull off the event. As usual Kenny was all over fixing the timing issues pretty quickly.

I've also decided I won't be running out of gas again at an event. :P

Great times from Chris and Jack, you guys were moving!

Crappy old Mustangs for the win!
Serving up a heaping helping of painliness and hurtitude on some hapless Miatas!

I mean, welcome to E2, Mr Frank and Mr Meier. Looking forward to many months of gentlemanly competition.

The two guys I relied on the most to mentor me are now E2 competitors. It's going to be an interesting year.

I'm praying for rain, Mr. Baron!
