I will help Drew with course set-up. I didn't put that on my registration, but will try to edit it.

Distributing people and cars across groups isn't hard. Distributing a mix of experienced people and novices across positions and groups to make the event flow smoothly, not splitting classes across groups (a source of great discontent at one time) ,trying to accomodate reasonable needs or wants (physical limitation, have to leave early for work, etc) when notified in advance, and sizing the groups so we don't lose workers (some of whom are either older, not in the best of shape, or both) to heatstroke while still getting 5+ runs takes a little creativity. Adjusting for no-shows and SPC walk-ons while a dozen people want to make last-minute class/number/vehicle changes and have to tell you right now so they can go walk the course again takes a little patience. But all well within the talents of any high-school graduate. I'll be happy to e-mail the registration spreadsheets out and coach someone through the process. And for July, I'll plan on working a regular assignment (which I'd likely be doing anyhow) -- don't even mind working the course.

Looks like most of the volunteer spots are filled, thank you all! We still need some bodies for tear-down at the end of the day.

Lunch anyone?

Drew, Mr. Course Marshal sir, you are a day or 2 away from getting our course for safety and driveability review...just so's you know.

No, just wanted to try something different. Just about to buy tires for the Z and figured this would be the only time wifey would allow me to do this. :pale:

Funny, I bought the car, I pay for it, I maintain it and SHE drives it....... :whip:

I'm back, and I'm moving to E1! Got some mods planned for the summer, so I figured I'd go play in the proper class. My tires are worn the heck out (not near the wear bars though) but it should be a BLAST. I'm way over due to hit the track.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's with all the turns? That can't be safe! Think of the children!
Stick with nice long straightaways and easy, gentle curves.
You could pull a ligament with all that steering! :o
