I'll tow the trailer, however I don't know if I can run yet.

Way to go, Bill! Brian and I will double-check you..wbeers690 wrote:if i was as confident in being able to do it as i am confident in my car (sometimes to confident) i would give the run groups a shot.. i know for the most part what they usually are.. i would hope someone would be willing to give me a hand also that morning sorting it out..
ill man up and take run groups but i cant promise i wont ask any questions while its going on
Distributing people and cars across groups isn't hard. Distributing a mix of experienced people and novices across positions and groups to make the event flow smoothly, not splitting classes across groups (a source of great discontent at one time) ,trying to accomodate reasonable needs or wants (physical limitation, have to leave early for work, etc) when notified in advance, and sizing the groups so we don't lose workers (some of whom are either older, not in the best of shape, or both) to heatstroke while still getting 5+ runs takes a little creativity. Adjusting for no-shows and SPC walk-ons while a dozen people want to make last-minute class/number/vehicle changes and have to tell you right now so they can go walk the course again takes a little patience. But all well within the talents of any high-school graduate. I'll be happy to e-mail the registration spreadsheets out and coach someone through the process. And for July, I'll plan on working a regular assignment (which I'd likely be doing anyhow) -- don't even mind working the course.Native wrote:Way to go, Bill! It'll be awesome to see you out there again Eric.shakedown067 wrote:I'm back, and I'm moving to E1! Got some mods planned for the summer, so I figured I'd go play in the proper class. My tires are worn the heck out (not near the wear bars though) but it should be a BLAST. I'm way over due to hit the track.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's with all the turns? That can't be safe! Think of the children!Native wrote:Drew, Mr. course Marshal sir, you are a day or 2 away from getting our course for safety and driveability review...just so's you know.
