Just you wait...you'll find out why one of the boxes in my trailer is filled with rain gear....
Splitting runs breaks my rhythm - I'm better without a break. YMMV.
I agree, and splitting makes for a less time-efficient event...but no one's better as a heat casualty.

Okay, so I was about to register for this event when I realized... much to my dismay... that my Triumph is broken! Okay, okay... so I already knew that (oil pressure sender sprung a leak and pumped out all the oil... engine is toast). But the only other car I have to drive is my Beater Miata, which would be fine... but if I break the Beater (which is very possible), I don't have a car to drive and my wife gets grumpy. Sooooo... I'd rather not autocross that car at this time if I can avoid it.

Not sure if Jeff's gonna make this event or not, if he does, I'm sure I can beat on the V. But otherwise... anybody wanna co-driver? I promise not to beat you in your own car. (but I don't promise not to try to break that promise)

Oh, shiznit, sorry to hear about the Spitfire. Do you know what you're gonna do yet?

If you can't drive the V, I'll throw you my keys (unless you get a better offer...and I can think of a few cars I'd rather drive than mine  )

edit: just saw the post above, looks like you've got at least two choices!

Oh, it's good to have friends! I'll get registered and make a decision on what to drive later. (probably about 20 minutes before I drive...)

I owe you a co-drive. My car is hard to drive though. Probably take 8 runs just to get used to it.

Believe it or not, so far I'm leaning toward Steve's Miata. I think I still remember how to drive a Miata. 8)

Yano, I tried to drive my boss' S2000 a few weeks ago. He hurt his back, so I was driving to lunch. On the way back, we kept ending up at stoplights next to this guy in a GTO (and we all know how THOSE guys are... ;) ). I kept trying to get a launch on him, but could NOT launch that car without bogging it. I got 4 or 5 shots at it, and just couldn't make it happen.

I'm not worthy.

You're worthy, it's just that those engines love the high rev's above 6,000 rpm. My friend has a 07 S2000, and it was the same way unless you pegged the gas, droppped the clutch and kept your foot in it. :D
