I need to get a small decal that say's 'Cone Intake' for the front.

Still covers the radiator-- that's the important part, right?snookwheel wrote:MARRYYYYYY!!! You got some 'spalin'n to do... pretty sure the grill used to cover the opening.....![]()

Hmmm, now you've got my wheels turning...Loren wrote:Perhaps a small "cone deflector" is in order?
Also good for deflecting cats, squirrels, small dogs, children...
Maybe you could get one of your old Jeep buddies to fab you a 4" pipe bumper for it? That ought to do the trick.snookwheel wrote:Hmmm, now you've got my wheels turning...Loren wrote:Perhaps a small "cone deflector" is in order?

Oh cool, im actually in the standings. Tied for last place!! yes!!Loren wrote:Jeremy has updated the Season Championship Points. Things are heating up! There are some solid leads in a few classes, but we're only half-way into the season, so much can change!
Oh you mean Howard's car.snookwheel wrote:Oh yea... one more comment:
NEMESIS!!!!!
What a ride that must be!
You and Gerry both did a great job. With the right wheels and wider tires you could have easily been 3 seconds faster and Gerry had Doug in the RX8 sweating for a minute. Keep coming back even with your current setup and you will get faster.ctrench wrote:Oh cool, im actually in the standings. You need to tell Mary to stop feeding the stalker. Plus, I heard feeding the stalker cones is like giving a dog chocolate.snookwheel wrote:MARRYYYYYY!!! You got some 'spalin'n to do... pretty sure the grill used to cover the opening.....![]()

I'm gonna repeat my favorite phrase of late: "You can't buy talent."nc4me wrote:You and Gerry both did a great job. All very true. That's why I wrote the first and last lines. The second line was merely a reference for what could be since I heard him and Gerry talking about it at the event. I think they both have good driving ability and I hope they continue to come out on a regular basis and improve upon what's already there.Loren wrote:I'm gonna repeat my favorite phrase of late: "You can't buy talent."nc4me wrote:You and Gerry both did a great job. Sure, they might be a little faster with "the right wheels" and wider tires. But, really, all they need are GOOD tires, a decent alignment, and a bunch of practice. I had Doug on the run until his last run, and he still only had me by about 4/10ths. I have neither the right wheels or wide tires. 1.5 year old 195/60-14 Star Specs on stock Miata wheels.
I like to encourage people to learn first, spend money later.
the mid 60s Indy cars had pretty cool chin spoilers that would look right at home there...You need to tell Mary to stop feeding the stalker. Plus, I heard feeding the stalker cones is like giving a dog chocolate
If you said 20yo stock shocks, we'd be impressed...metal fatigue doesn't set in that easily.Solar wrote:Oh, Angus is running on 20 year old stock springs......just sayin'
