What is a "true slalom". 4 cones directly in line with each other and about 50-60 feet apart... is not a true slalom?

Ok, my bad. I guess I was looking for a straight line slalom, something that we have in the drivers school. From what I can see for Sunday is a large offset. That's what I meant. :)

I remember driving this course with my brother's Subaru and no front sway bar. I would always hit the cones on the turn after the slalom.

Pro tip: Course designers are evil.

The lines shown on the course map will show you the direction that the course follows, but rarely show a correct driving line. Don't let them dictate the way you perceive the course. Same with chalk lines on the pavement. They're just there to help guide you when you WALK the course more than anything else. "The cones define the course."

Co-chair April's event and you can design a course with a tire-chewing left-hander to even out the tire wear. :)

Get Brian to co-chair with you and maybe you two can design a slalom that he can see. :blind:

Unless you're halfway through a clutch install right now, I'm predicting your best time will be a DNS. Ouch!
