That's been happening a lot lately. I think people are trying to update their work assignment preferences, but somehow screwing it up. I don't know if it's the system or the user. (not that I have any control over either) I've probably had 3-4 email notification emails for entries on this event come in with stuff like that in one or more of the name fields (one of them was Charles, I think). But, I guess most people check their entry on the list and make corrections, because the one above is the only one left.

If it doesn't get corrected, I'll figure out who it is and fix it next time I'm in there.
Bug on the site....

It has happened to me 2-3 times now. The last few events trying to add a guest and/or change work assignment the "name field" on the form jacks up and moves the data you enter into the guest or worker field into "name".

I have to keep going back and changing my entry so it's not dorked up. I'm sure most people wouldn't notice it.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have sold out an event in 111 hours and 33 minutes. Less than 5 days to get 60 entries.

I'm going to take a peek at the "guest" count tonight. If there enough (or any) openings, I'll try to add a few more entries.

^^ That'd be great. Chris Trenchik needs to get in on this and redeem himself for Spinderella and taking out 20 cones! If he could just keep control of the damn car, he'll be kicking some butt.

And Loren - M1? Really? Did you just register in a higher class, or do you plan on modding before the next event?

I just want to get used to running with those guys, since I'll be kicking their butts next season in John's car.

But M1? Hmm... Is forced induction in the car's future? I really am jealous. I love that car.

John runs M2, and I'm co-driving with him, but I don't want him to have to compete against me. Will also be fun to see if we can win two classes with the same car.

Okay, there are a handful of entries that I could open up, but I'm not going to just throw them out there. Just in case there are any of our regulars out there who haven't figured out that pre-reg fills up this fast, I'm going to hold out for them just a bit.

So, think of this as a waiting list. If anyone reading this is a regular FAST competitor who missed registration, PM me and I'll try to get you in. As long as there are still open slots, I can. Otherwise, you'll be standing by awaiting a cancellation.

Would the registration form have told me if there was no room for my guest? I registered my wife to join me as a guest, I just don't want to get all the way there to find out she isn't on the list. This is my first run at Brooksville so I'm not sure how this venue works.

No, I'd have had to contact you to let you know. The system has no means of tracking our number of guests. But, if you had her on your registration when you submitted it, you're good. There were only 8 guests registered. And I just checked, yep, she's there. Good to go.

I'm going to work on a better way to handle this whole thing. (assuming we don't decide to just quit allowing non-drivers at B'ville)

Anything stopping me from running my S2-classed Miata in the R3 class? There's a tie for third I may be interested in breaking up. :D

Good deal. Thanks for checking.

I just finished reading the thread about making a decision on bville and guests and read that the facility is pretty much a barren waste land. What is normal for this place? Do people bring pop up tents and chairs? Coolers? I could bring my whole Fixxfest setup but I don't want to be the newbie that pisses the venue off by setting up a small village.

Wow, I would like to be on that wait list, since I will probably be towing the trailer...
