I think I still have a small sheet of drywall I can cut some strips out off. I'll see what kind of shape it's in this weekend.Solar wrote:I got 5 or 6 four foot strips of drywall to mark the cones, now I just have to remember to bring them.
Are you getting the BRZ from Reeves? Is it blue? It's featured on their FB page today.Dave-ROR wrote:2 spots left. No Idea what class I should be in so I left it at m3. Car isn't classified yet. Move me wherever.
No. Kinda surprised they even got one with their pitiful sales numbers.buddy bodean wrote:Are you getting the BRZ from Reeves? Is it blue? It got out of hand by being to all-inclusive. Event chairs are free to post a list for just the positions you mentioned. And I believe Brian said he was going to do that soon. As for the rest... all the "gravy" assignments need to be handed out based on experience and the club's needs rather than "first come, first served" as before. So, that whole process gets held until after registration is closed and we know who is signed up.Charles wrote:What ever happened to our worker assignment list that we used to have posted on each event thread for supplies, lunch, trailer etc?

I hear there's a race track down there, too.Dave-ROR wrote:Cpt_Rum-bo wrote:Unfortunately, I won't be at any fast events in the near future, because I'm moving to Coral Springs this weekend. All the events I've taken part in thus far have been really fun. Thanks Fellas and enjoy!
Enjoy the new town and hopefully you'll find some fun places to autocross down there!
Yeah, and it almost went bad last month. I almost slept in but decided I'd go ahead and show up to help setup anyway. Then once getting there, found out I was setup. Luckily Drew helped out. I feel it's kinda been a cluster the last few events knowing who's doing what before the event. Personally, I miss having a running list at the beginning of the thread, even if it was TBD and just a few of the early morning jobs.Loren wrote:I swear I said all this last month. And probably the month before. Not to mention at the beginning of this thread.
Best wishes, Cpt Rum-bo!Cpt_Rum-bo wrote:Unfortunately, I won't be at any fast events in the near future, because I'm moving to Coral Springs this weekend. All the events I've taken part in thus far have been really fun. Thanks Fellas and enjoy!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? The course has been approved but it's not posted. When you get a chance please post away. This is the only fun thing I do all month and I've been dying to see what the course looks like!Solar wrote:Okay this is the official work thread.

Supplies ?
I'm assuming John will be taking care of registration duties as usual. Don't know if anyone volenteered for tear down duty, but I'd really like to have a couple people assigned to help with that.
Still haven't heard what we need as far as supplies go. I know we will need gas for the genny, and 8 to 10 bags of ice. If I don't get a count on sodas and water I will just pick up 8 cases of water and call it a day.
I have Lunch covered unless someone wants to do something other than pizza, let me know by June 6th, or the pizza order goes in.
I submitted the course to Dave for safety and he gave it a green light, so we're good to go there. There will need to be the usual tweaking in the morning but there shouldn't need to be a lot.
You will be missed. Best of luck to you.Cpt_Rum-bo wrote:Unfortunately, I won't be at any fast events in the near future, because I'm moving to Coral Springs this weekend. All the events I've taken part in thus far have been really fun. Thanks Fellas and enjoy!
