Seriously, though... that's a cool app. Are the rings on the G Meter .5 and 1.0 G's? If so, I think you've identified your problem.
I just added numeric data to it... the center ring is 1 G. my car has terrible acceleration. :bangwall:

Yeah, someone mentioned that yesterday. We looked at it, verified after we got home that it's misclassed, but it didn't change any trophy positions for this event, or for the season, so we didn't bother fixing it. But, Liz was informed (she really didn't know), and we'll be checking to be sure she's classed correctly next time.

Liz says it's a blonde thing! She knows now she has to set the correct class when she registers on MAE.

Tools Found in Paddock Area!

When we were packing up, we found a Pittsburg socket set, phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers between Liz's white STi and the beautiful white 72 BMW.

I have them and can bring them to our next event.

Thanks to everyone who coordinated this event! This was my first event and I had an amazing experience.

A special thanks to Scott, Chuck, Drew, Jim, and others who either rode with me or let me ride with them. I learned a lot.
I also had great time. Thanks again to Matt Sullivan and Dustin Tatem in Run 2 for letting me ride with you. For the guys working in STA3 Thanks for the advice as well.
Steve helped me greatly as my ride along instructor. The biggest help was trading seats with Steve, which helped me better understand the line and push my novice skill level to the limit.
I uploaded a video of my 1st and last runs. http://youtu.be/GZDLOs2_fso

Thanks for the compliments guys, Ron definitely made sure we were moving smoothly. Loren also was a big part of that course making sure I didn't make a cluster of a design for you all!

It was a lot of fun yesterday even though I kept over driving my own course... :bang:

Scott thank you for the video that is hilarious, just made me laugh for the first time today and it's 10:40 at night.

I'm pretty sure everyone who matters in S3 has always known that (and never said anything) but enjoyed having her in the class as a victim and/or friendly/intense competitor. We all have clean car envy is all. She was running with the single required S3 birdshit on the car!! That's all that really matters along with the ability to laugh, smile and enjoy one's self.

ALSO considering Liz's car is ultra stock and not FAST stock she is certainly at a great handicap in that class.

I'm considering running my RX8 in S1 next season as it's one of the few ultra stock classes left. Mostly because the cars at the top now are either out of production (like mine) or just don't have any aftermarket speed parts available. :thought:

Everyone in S3 matters! :thumbwink:

For the record, it's a good idea to go ahead and fix classing errors like that as soon as you notice them rather than letting them go uncorrected for months. With as many newbs as we have at our events, if they notice it, they surely won't say anything, but they'll likely assume that we're playing favorites allowing certain people to disregard rules and classing. We don't want to give that impression.

Bookmark for myself....
As far as I can tell, my SRT-4 is SCCA class STX (2013) or possibly DSP (2013)?
.... which as far as I can tell puts me in FAST class M3.

(that took way too long to figure out)

Thought it was strange that Jim drove the STI in S1 and Liz drove it in S3, but didn't say anything. Figured interested parties would say something if it bothered them.
