No, you absolutely did not hear gymkhana.
You two need to get your hearing checked.
I suppose it could be the voices in your head, because if you think gymkhana is good thing, you are definitely insane.

Drew, your inner diva is showing again.

(no Gymkhana this time, though)

I think an enduro would be a lot of fun. While I think it would be fun to drive a different car I'm not sure many people would trust their car in the hands of a 17 year old.

I vote for a enduro cross event, lots of fun, and lots of runs. Scott was talking to me about this today, and the more I think about it, the more I like it. :)

EDIT: and another idea for the enduro cross, have the first lap "un-timed", have the car start outside the timing lights, then go through the timing lights on the rest of the runs. That way everyone gets a chance to at least learn the course before it's official and gives everyone a chance to warm up their car and tires ?

Or how about a "Road Kill Course" ? We trap a bunch of small fast critters from the woods and let them run free on the course, the person with the most "hits" with the best time without going off course wins a Moose Head to mount on their wall ? I have a few squirrels and raccoons around here I'd be glad to donate. (PETA people, this is a joke)

You might not remember, but this is the way we've typically done Enduro in the past. A single 2-lap untimed practice run to learn the course, then usually 2 multi-lap runs. But, we're probably not going to do that this time in favor of allowing more people to enter the event. Time is of the essence at an Enduro.

Yeah, my bad, as soon as I checked back to this thread I was thinking, "wait, isn't that how we did it before?" :headscratch:

Either way I suck coming up with new ideas; I'm still up for an Endurocross. :)

I know, right?

It's okay. People can "vote" if they wish. Opinions are good, and even though Steve and I have already made our decision on what to do in August, we take note of opinions for future events.
