Once upon a ime I could look at a car and classify it according to scca or nasa rules. It's been a long time and I'm still figuring out the whole fast thing. It seems like S2 is the proper spot for my car. I just don't want to hear any winey complainers when I whoop up on whatever class it is that I'm in. :P

Due to my school thesis being due on Aug 3, which culminates in a 1 hour verbal presentation, I am passing on towing the trailer up to the event. I just can't chance letting you down and not having the equipment on-site.

Is there anyone else who can do this? I can bring it back on Saturday evening if needed.

anyone? bueller?

Y'all heard the man. We're gonna need someone to haul the trailer. Can be a Friday night delivery, and Ed can pick up Saturday if necessary.

Also, registration closes Thursday night. I know at least one person asked about entering both early and late sessions. Well, if you're in the Early sessions and would like to also register for the late session... it'll be a long day, but you're welcome to it. Plenty of openings for the afternoon.

Remember, this is a Brooksville event, so all guests must be registered. Plenty of room for guests this time due to it being a limited entry event. And all registered guests and drivers are welcome to be there all day if they wish for this event.

I'll see if me and my new tow pig can be available for drop off, certainly won't be able to tow home. I don't think it has the correct trailer connections on it either, and not sure if I'll have time to do it before the event, but I'll let you know.

I know you've towed it before, but maybe this helps....

Trailer has 2" ball
Standard 4-pin plug(no brakes)
Bottom of your ball needs to be ~13" off the ground if you want to haul it level.

Sounds like Eric is a little iffy. Anybody else want to jump on this so that he doesn't have to?

I'll know this weekend for sure, if not sooner. The burban gets some overhaulin' done this week and should be solid by the end of the weekend. I already have a hitch (just have to flip the ball to the lower side now) and I'll measure how high off the ground it is. I'll miss towing that pig with the low rider...man was that easy to hook up to. Do they make the round connector to the standard 4-pin? I know mine has that big round trailer plug connector. I haven't seen a secondary 4-pin under there, but I haven't looked either.

6/7-way round to 4 blade flat adapter should be at any autozone or advance auto parts.

It's pretty common for a 4 blade connector to be part of the round 4 pin. Take a close look at your connector to see if there is a 4 pin on its side.

Haven't had a chance to look at all yet. Hope to get new tires today, and the trans and coolant flushed tomorrow. Hopefully the pads and rotors show up next week, then I just get to sit back and cruise in this bad boy!

No four prong connection, but I'll stop by the Orielly's by my house (deadly, it's within walking distance) and pick up a round to 4-pin adapter.
