Registration closes in 7 days... and it's a busy 7 days for most people. Don't forget to register! And check the entry list to see if all the usual suspects are there, remind your friends to register if they haven't.

I'm signed up, but it looks like I'll need to mooch a ride...my car's now making evil sounds from the bottom end. Since its a Classic event, I'm open to possibilities.

This course is long enough that it really requires 8 work stations. And to pull that off, we need an absolute minimum of 36 entries. So, when we hit that mark, I'll post the map. If we don't hit that mark, I'll choose another shorter course from the library.

Yes! 38 entries, minus two guests and we've hit the minimum for the long course. Lets see it please.

We did get the long course for Christmas! I just snuck away from the family for a few minutes for a quick look at the forum - what a treat.
An eight cone slalom to kick things off- if I'm not significantly better at slaloming by the end of this event then there's something wrong:)
A few nice fast sweepers too. I can't wait.

3 is standard for a Classic.

oh ok, didn't realize that, the last classic event i went to had two work groups, but there was also less than 30 cars.

So...since my Miata is laid up waiting for an engine, I need to see about a ride for this weekend. Since it's a Classic, I'm not particularly worried about staying in S2. While most people here are used to seeing me in the Miata, I have seat time in everything from a race-prepped Datsun 510 to a pre-GTI VW Rabbit. Certainly willing to kick in some cash for tire wear. PM me if there's interest.

I suspect I'll be looking for rides at least through January (to adequately break in a new engine before flogging it), so consider this a request for the 17th and 31st as well. For the 17th, I'd like to stay in S2...I need the points!

If don't mind blown shocks, an engine that may or may not be down a few HP, a slight need for new brake discs, new but cheap brake pads, all-season tires, a sometimes finicky transmission...er
