Fixed that for you... :snicker:

This thread makes me laugh. Even the part about Brian's "now-you-see-it-now-you-don't" avatar. (which, right now, is "don't" again...).

And Dan's upside-down 3.

And Drew's star. :rolling:

I'm almost afraid to mention this, but I don't see Brian's avatar again. It was there for a while yesterday, now it's gone again. Why is it only HIS that does that?

I can't get an avatar assigned for the life of me. I've tried compressing, resizing, compressing + resizing and it just keeps giving the same error message about needing to be under a certain pixel size.

What are you resizing to? And what file type are you trying to use?

I've not had any trouble with 200x200 or smaller jpg or gif files.

It does seem like something I would do, but no, I'm not screwing around. 8-)

When I started this thread, I upgraded my OS and I saw that my avatar was changed, thought that it might be a virus or something, didn't know Loren was "fixing" the avatars.

Anyhow, I'm showing no avatar, because I haven't decided on a new one. :thought:

I guess there's a issue on my side here, don't know why, using my laptop with W7 I still can not upload a avatar link from Photobucket. My only option is to upload a image directly form my computer, but that sucks because I can't reduce the image to the 200 x 200 or whatever it is.

I have even tried uploading my "rain avatar" but not working.

Doesn't Photobucket resize? Doesn't need to be 200x200, just can't be 5000x5000 like most cameras spit out these days. Save something like a 640x480 to your computer, then upload that. The system will resize it as long as the file size is under 1mb.

Loren, I'll have to wait until I'm back at my home cpu to look at the various files I've tried. I'd like to us one from either Miami-Homestead or PBIR since those were professionally taken.
