Also, I'm carless for this event. I'll be driving the S-10 to move the trailer and will offiically be car-whoring. Open for some runs in whatever anybody is willing to give me keys to. Wanna see what your car will do? I'll do my best. Wanna challenge me to beat your best time? I'll do my best!

So I have a weird suggestion:

Everyone who has a GoPro or other mounted video recording device and thinks they can do the turnaround the fastest puts $1 in a pot. Whoever has the fastest time from entrance to exit through the double gate before/after the turnaround wins the pot. If nothing else I just want to see footage of the turnaround from as many people as possible to see what the best method/line to take is.

Loren,

You're always welcome to take some runs in the vette. Being as you are the current land speed record holder in it:) There is some crazy fast competition in S1.

GRM just published their annual Skidpad Challenge and it was won by a 9 yr old boy in a 1/4 midget on slicks 1.867g

I don't think I've ever seen Elliot Harvey use a GoPro? I'd have to put money on his loop turn with slicks, mad skills AND a light car.

Yea I would peg Elliot as a favorite. Depending on the hp/suspension on the Exocet I think it could have an advantage on paper. I'm still convinced that ANYBODY can take the win with the right line.
