Dangerous for horses. They can break a leg stepping on a tortoise burrow if it collapses. Not to mention tossing you over their ears as they crash.

I uploaded a video of one of my runs for my buds to see, also a bonus FRS/BRZ spin out at the end. I couldn't make out the numbers on the car so hopefully someone recognizes it. Got it, it's Spencer Fraseur in his 2015 Scion FR-S #115.

Matt made my car look so good... so proud!

His "2" was really ug-ly but I guess that met the timing booth's needs... really, I mean I'm not bitter or anything. Nor am I keeping a list or anything, really... nah, nothing.

EDIT: As always Philip, great photos!
Thank you for letting me help you scrub the tires in, and then in true gentlemanly fashion allowing me the final competitive run. Our fourth run times were very close, you just caught a cone somewhere, otherwise you had me. Next event we'll have to switch over to the speed so you can shame me in it.

I need to stop driving other people's cars that are sorted better than mine. I've been resisting the suspension bug since we bought the house, but it is so very tempting. [emoji53]

You know what's worse than losing a co-drive in your own car? It's knowing how much of the short stick I gave "my competition" and I still ate it!

I gave Matt:
- an unfamiliar car
- brand new tires with basically just the miles from the house to the strip
- the tires had Armor-all all over the first inch of the tread block (jeez the tire shop guys love me apparently)
- completely over inflated rears to start

I was nice enough to turn off the TC but just look at the slippery shine...

And I iced him after run 3 to take my 1, 2, 3... 4 runs. More skill, a horseshoe or powered by the Irish, it's got to be one of them; I tip my hat to thee for now.

Only in the afternoon did I finally get a better line and a more redeeming run, it didn't last though...

Hah so the skittish rear wasn't all pressure issues, the man really wanted to get his car dirty. I'm sorry I disappointed everyone and didn't put it in the dirt.

Dan discovered this gem of Steve and I on my final run, turn up the audio to hear the dialogue.

Having Steve ride with you is entertaining, even if he is trash talking the whole time. It's even better when you didn't know the camera was recording.

That find was all but dumb luck - I missed a start/stop after run 2 and had a couple huge grid videos; only uploaded the gig+ file hoping I had my cone encounter on my last run.

This is why we were walking the pastures. We can't relocate the gophers but we can fill in the burrows over and over until the inhabitant(s) decided to move on of their own volition. Galloping in open fields you have to keep your head up and your eyes scanning ahead. Sound familiar?

:rolling: Even better when you don't know you're being recorded. But c'mon...it wasn't ALL trash. But I did forget to thank you for skipping the dirt shower

Hey, did you know that we're officially half-way through the 2016 FAST Championship season? Yep. 5 of 10 points events are done.

Season Points have been updated. Nothing is decided as of yet, and really only a few classes appear to have a strong lead for first place.

Finally got a video done for the Insight. All the extra stuff is for figuring out what the car was doing, but the sun really kills the OBD display...
