He's afraid of Joe. :whip: It is what it is. Car lengths matter. Not offering yet another car this time. :binky: :double:

M3 only has one entry. I nearly won this damned event 3 times so far with "shit" cars in S3, S2, S1. ARRRRG. Joe B. will finish this shit for me. No more of that Dan guy in the MOD hardtop convertible I had to beat twice with a bubbling brain in the heat and couldn't pull it off. Damn. Damn. Damn.

This amount should be sufficient.

OK, just finished turning all the eccentric bolts. Maximum negative camber. Going for a shakedown run tomorrow, chalking my rims to figure how much tire pressure I need to run. I'll be ready for the Duel for sure. I'll be taking my 5.75 blocks head start.

Hey hey, I only see the fronts being positive. I better see the rears positive or I'm only starting 2 1/2 blocks back!

P.S. Nice jack, I have the same.

32 entries. Four very tidy full classes of 8.

We've got the stupid fast cars. (y'all know who you are)
We've got the mixed Mod class. (M2, M3 & M4)
We've got the mixed Stock class. (S1, S2, S3 + me & Steve as filler)
And we've got a full S4 class. (plus an R1 Miata that runs S4 times)

Should be great competition! :thumbwink:

Weather is looking pretty good, too.

Can't wait. I have my excuses planned and a 12 page word document on why my car should get a minimum 2 block handicap against all competitors ( 3 blocks if it's a Mirage ).

Good luck with that. The Duel being a gentlemanly game, keep in mind that a gentleman does not whine. :nope:

FWIW, you're only the #2 seed in your class. I seeded Jamie ahead of you purely because his car has greater potential and he SHOULD win. (whether he does or not is a story that will unfold Saturday!)

I was going to wear a monocle and top hat when I was whining, I figured it would offset it. Seriously I'm here for the fun and close finishes. I'm actually not sure my car isn't top seed worthy. This isn't a transition heavy course so my cars high levels of absolute grip should work out in my favor.

Hey! Play head games in your own class! And factor in that my greater potential car has more miles than anything else on the grid. Twice more than some...just sayin'.

Yeah, but your car has a suspension.

I really wanted to seed Philip #1... but, I wouldn't want him to get a big head or anything.

Besides, being the top two, your competitors will probably challenge each other and you'll end up head-to-head in the first round, anyway. Really doesn't matter which of you is top seed.

Philip? Big head? After beating Preston Jordan in the rain a few weeks ago? Unlikely. But he has no clutch. And he likes those WIDE lines around sweepers. And I did flip my tires...almost like having fresh rubber. So you may be right...might have seeded him too high.

HEY, I fixed the clutch! Now it's just the clutch master... It's not that I take wide lines, I'm just always on the "wet" line  Works great when the rain plays ball.

The last 3 years my S cars didn't get any offset at the start against M cars other than "kind ole Mario" against my crap Shamu Mustang (and I beat him with torque auto launch 3 years ago by an inch w/ a 25Ft penalty). I've only been beaten by M cars for 3 years. Does this mean there will be no kissy kissy starts? I gave one to Dave last year in his lower rated S car with shit tires. Got him by ONLY an inch. Also to a co-driven Miata that beat me first run in my Vette but broke last year. Go Ben!!!! I still don't remember the last of 4 runs last year? Brain boil. Will be a fun event with a competitive car and driver this time. :thumbwink:
