The Word is not good. Brooksville is not available 9/23, Loren and I are trying to get another site/date. Sit tight for now, don't change that channel.
This message brought to you by the letter "A" and the letter "X." And by the color Orange.

Here's the official word:
Official Word wrote:EVENT POSTPONED -- AND TENTATIVE
Hurricane Irma is still messing with us! We're trying not to be too upset about it. We know a lot of people got it worse than we did, and that's WHY Irma is still messing with us! The Brooksville airstrip that we use is presently being used by Duke Energy for staging repair crews, and ALSO the National Guard is set up there. So, it's covered with trucks and tents and people from end to end. At this point, we are told that it MIGHT be available to us on September 30th. Best they can do is confirm that on Monday. So, that's what we're hoping for... and we wait.
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN TENTATIVELY RESCHEDULED TO SEPTEMBER 30!
If you were already registered for 9/23, you are still registered for 9/30, and we will keep you posted. We just changed the date of this event in the system. If you are registered, and 9/30 is a date that doesn't work for you, NO PROBLEM. If you can't make the new date, just log in and cancel your entry. We have not billed for this event yet, and will not do so until after the close of registration on 9/27. So, if you need to cancel, you have plenty of time to do it. No harm, no foul.
We're really sorry we had to drop the September 23rd date. We haven't autocrossed in 6 weeks at this point, we're dying for an event!

Can you remove the "procrastination rate" from MotorsportReg registration for this event since the event is now more than a week away? I'd like to sign up and attend but I don't really want to pay $60 to do so, this month has been expensive enough already for autocrossing...

If I'm not mistaken, I already did that.
Ah, I did. But, I only did it for the Early Session.
Fixed.

Since there have been no contests for the last 3 weeks.
Wife noticed a lot of stuff. Black mold in laundry clutch ceiling. Damn you all. There's weeds all over the garden. Damn you all.
I got out the foldy aluminum ladder good for only 220lbs which is less than my current weight. and climbed on the roof covered in sandy shingles spin your wheels/feet like the Dog track to save my ass from breaking my back or neck hitting the earth?
She also noticed that the patio outdoors was black stained, leaves were still on the lanai roof and I hadn't yet killed all the Norway rats that have now infiltrated FL. Damn.
So: I climbed up on the roof with a broom, a bag full of caulk, a knife and a new putty knife wearing my very old lawn tennis shoes. Are you amused yet? You should be.
I sealed the roof vents for the dryer and the washer in addition to the fart evacuators to correct the drip. I peered into the other two vents on top of the roof and saw no eyes. After picking all the lint out of the dryer vent (that now flaps in the breeze like new). That was some nasty stuff after 12 years in that dryer duct. I thought it was a dead rat.
This might make you "animal protective" but I found a poisoned dead lactating momma rat in our outdoor bin container. Then I found a bevy of 5 baby rats in there too. Crap. So because you are animal lovers and I "hate" rats. Here it is. I put every single baby rat with their eyes closed into a bucket of water and the bastards swam. I hate rats. After awhile they all drowned and sunk like rocks to the bottom of the bucket.
If you are a rat I will always drown your ass. I hate rats. It pisses me off that a baby rat without it's eyes open can swim. If you are a wharf rat I will shoot you on the river with a 22 but not in FL. Only Co-eds can shot anything in Fl now. Don't go to College.

It's time for a Martin Sports club challenge? That will make the FIRM events affordable? Farm Truck has been there and stayed on the pavement. Amazing.

Sara and I will be out of town till midnight Friday night, hope nothing changes this week. We have both cars packed and prepped, course maps printed. Please don't assign us to early morning assignments as we may not see your emails this coming week. We are off to Boston to see one of our son's get married.
