Funny, I don't recall seeing "Tinky Winky" on the entry list...

I think you are the first person to find it [emoji38]
That's hilarious! I hadn't had a chance to look through all the pictures. At first I thought Steve was talking about the porta- potty...

After skimming through the photos (again) twice to see what y'all are talking about, I finally Googled "tinky winky". Now I understand... why I have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

All of my children's television references are at least 20 years out-of-date! And I'm okay with that.

Did you find "tinky winky"? I had no idea what Steve was referencing until I found it...

Once I found out what I was looking for, I didn't care enough to continue looking.

Hey, that's not funny! You're shaming me for my helmet cam! I was going to thank you for the pics until I saw that. I guess I'm going to have to find another mounting point for my GoPro. I told Tyler when you get to my age, you don't care what you look like. I'm having second thoughts...

OK, Finally had time to get the videos put together. Unfortunately there was a glitch with the video of my second run, so here is my first run 3:08.002.

And here is Philip's run ending up with a 3:07.328. My second run was a 3:05.3 so I finally beat Philip in my own car, but I did make him run with 200lb of ballast

Really proud of myself. At the 1:01 mark I'm already making excuses before the 2nd lap. That's how a real autocrosser does it!

Oh,
I forgot to mention some of the keen eyed viewers may have noticed.... I adjusted my door mirrors to look down the side of the car to see how close I'm getting to the cones. Glad to say I didn't hit any at the endurocross.
And I have to give my wife the kudos for the idea. I've already used it to figure out which cone I hit on video from a previous event :smack: I had no idea during the run that I hit a cone until I saw the timing after. Sure enough, I found it on the video after!

Anyhow, it's something else to look at for a change of scenery while watching a 5 lap endurocross video.

A) This is a cool idea. Has the potential to make some interesting video stills.

B) Uh... Dan...

While I certainly could have Photoshopped that in there for funsies... I didn't.

Damn. As I was posting I just saw Loren's post above. I didn't realize that, I guess that was one of my freebies since not on the last lap! Maybe this isn't such a good idea after all :bangwall: Could be used as evidence against me......

It was on your first or second lap. I was just casually watching at 1/4 speed to see what it looked like and how close to the cones you were getting.

And... (Apart from the obvious) how did it look? I am pretty happy with how tight I am running to the cones for the most part.

One thing I need to work on is hand position on the steering wheel, Philip's run makes it clear that I have some work to do there!
