That's actually funny. Basically new motor @ 50k and walks away. I got a new motor in my RX8 at 50k and am still racing it. Guess I scared him with the comparison. :rolling:

He just has a short attention span. "Well, this was fun. What's next?"

I can relate.

So looks like the fight has been fixed in a couple classes. Yikes. Hard to mess with guys who take the "fall". Poo. We will remember you all next season.

Yes, moved here about a year ago from Bham, AL. Finally getting the M3 put back together for more seat time.

This will be a cameo appearance in S1. I bought an old Chevrolet, same year as the red herring, and I'm going to run it around the course to see where its limits are. I don't expect to be competitive on tires with 320 tread wear, but I do expect to have fun.

The C4 has some unusual rear handling characteristics if things aren't just so. You should have a conversation with Les on how he's made his Banana handle consistently.

Fixed that for you.

Rumor has it Les paid more for his motor than I paid for my car. But I was going to talk to him about adjustments that might make it handle better. Before I throw any money at that, I want to work on the Noisy ZF6. Maybe he has some pointers on that too.

Yes. If Les is down to a Kia for his Soul time might be right to negotiate? It's not a rumor he paid a lot for that motor!! Or so he told me two years ago at the picnic.

The good news is that the parts to fix a C4's driving missteps are really cheap. :read: Danny Popp might have a website for his old winning crap C3's and C4's and C5's? Well he should anyhow.

M3 will be the one to watch on the 28th, there are five drivers registered who have taken first place this season.

Four of the five are in competition for a shirt. Preston is fast enough to compete for FTD. If I beat Tyler, I may earn enough points to move ahead. However I need two points, not just one. A two point conversion if you will, not just a point after. Elexis is in much the same boat as I am, she needs two points not just one to pull even with Curtis. I can not leave out Aaron, who took first place last event at the Dog Track, he has come on strong the second half of the season. So there you have it; four drivers competing for three shirts, all of them have a shot. And one driver with a shot at FTD. I think I should save up for a turbo.

The only easy win was last year.

I'm was considering running in M2 for this event but don't want to throw a wrench in the standings. Guess it will have to wait a bit longer. I did put the tune in the car after I figured out how to reflash back to stock. It definitely woke things up, but more importantly it fixed the rev hang and the super touchy pedal. Gonna take a bit to relearn the throttle response.

That will benefit the others in S2 by 2pts. Good idea. No one in M2 should be concerned about your flash which is probably legal in S2 anyhow. Not enforceable even in the SCCA as they gave up on proving it anymore. So long as your unsafe laptop isn't bouncing around the car you are golden :snicker:
