Kim - start cracking the whip on this trailer thing...
Unless we want to plan for an abbreviated event that ends around 2:30 (i.e. not many runs) so the trailer can be packed and on the road by 3pm someone else will have to step up to tow the trailer back to storage.

Thanks for taking care of the laptop, guys. I think Charles picked up a bag for it, which is much appreciated!

As for the trailer, I hate to say it but this event will end up being cancelled if there isn't a solid plan to tow the trailer home. (or, per Bill, it'll have to end "early."). Ending early is certainly the lesser of two evils, and even better would be some brainstorming on how this can work out (short of us having to spend money and someone's time renting a tow vehicle...)

According to this thread here, we've got Brian K., Dave, Charles, and maybe Kenny. Has any of that changed?

edit: The Flowers are going to be unavailable the next few months, and are trying to sell the "tow vehicle." This trailer thing is not going away, y'all.

By the time the event ends I'll be doing registration and tech for the ITR Expo up in Joliet, IL.. so I'm obviously out.

I haven't seen Charles in a VERY long time at SPC events, and he tows the 240 now...

Kenny, he's missing this event too right?

That leaves Brian, of those that were listed in that thread.

My MGM has a lot of steering issues, so it's sketchy to tow with it, but I'll help out when I can, although I'd need a car to drive at the events until I get around to fixing the power windows and such.. and I'd really like to autocross my integra occasionally too :P

I'll be in Brooksville on the 17th, I'll look over the rest of the schedule for the year and see when/if I can pitch in with the trailer if needed and still get the 240 to the event(s)

No worries. I'll take the trailer home. Jamie - just let me run early, so I can take my car home and come back for the trailer.

Thanks =

In a pinch I can always go back for the trailer if it can sit for a few hours or if someone can stay with it.

Running early is no problem. Thanks.

ALL RIGHT!! :D Thanks for chiming in, all! Looks like Ron is gonna cover this Saturday (thanks, Ron), and Bill said they'll be unavailable to tow in June, July and September. That's the next 3 events, so it would be great if you guys can look ahead on the calendar and see what can be coordinated ahead of time. Just as a reminder, towing is a paid job - real cash money. I know Brian K. has been pretty busy, but I'll hunt him down and ask about his van and SPC dates...

Just to express my thought on this new message board format.. I HATE IT !!!

Anyhow, I've been prety busy the last few weeks, and I see the trailer situation has been resloved, but I can tow in a pinch if Ron can't, but would rather not being Sunday is my first real day off in 2 weeks and want to grill some red meat and drink a few beers afterwards. Yellow_Colorz_PDT_06

I forgot to register, but I'll be there at 7am to help set up the course and get registered.

I'm sorry that I have been slacking on my points duties, but will get them updated tonight and sent over to Steve.

Tell us how you really feel. :P

What we have here is the latest version of PHPBB as it comes "out of the box". There are a couple things I don't like about it, myself. Specifically, putting the poster identity info on the right side instead of the left, and making me go back to the board index to get to a "view new posts" link.

But, whaddaya want for nothin'?

I might not like it, but like you said, I'll take it for the price. 8) I really tried to give it a chance, I really did, but I keep screwing up my replies and lose them somehow and have to re-type them. Plus the color format all blends together, seems everything is blue, and I don't care for the user names on the right side either. There, I'm done, end of subject. Yellow_Colorz_PDT_06

As far as supplies, 6 cases of water, one case of regular cherry coke and one case of regular root beer. How many bags of ice??

We used 6 bags of ice last month. As was said, hotter now, so probably 8 would be better.

Yep.

The one thing I like about the format is that it automatically sizes to your screen. change the colors, put the user stuff on the left side, and we have a winner.

As far as ice goes, we need 10+ bags last event we had 8 actually and it was barely enough, 10 should be the right number.

No need to shout. 10's fine. Do we have enough cooler space to hold 10 bags of ice plus drinks? No sense buying ice to let it sit out and melt...Walmart is right across the street, as are several gas stations. We can always tag someone to go out and get more ice if we need it.

Ten bags it is. I will have a cooler that can hold the excess. A case each of regular Root Beer and Cherry Cola, not 12 packs.. Correct?
