I'll have new tires!
When you get there. I'm not putting anyone who hasn't registered down for a job until they actually turn up...been burned too often by no-shows. Applied the same rule to myself for events I waited to register for because I wasn't sure I'd make them.Alizarin wrote:I haven't signed up yet, but I'll be there. Put me down for timing.
Right. I'll just settle for not rubbing on the fenders or other suspension components. Probably going to get an alignment done when I have them mounted. I think she needs it anyways.shakedown067 wrote:Watch out, Kenny's going for FTD!
Fair enough. 8)Jamie wrote:When you get there. I'm not putting anyone who hasn't registered down for a job until they actually turn up...been burned too often by no-shows. Applied the same rule to myself for events I waited to register for because I wasn't sure I'd make them.
Ummm ... no, I don't. At least, not yet.nc4me wrote:You have a pm Bill.
Oh, that. I pm'd you a reply the same day. I thought it was a new pm.nc4me wrote:Darn it. I pmed you a couple of days ago about your bed and breakfast in canada. My parents love canada. Can you pm the info about your bed and breakfast(when it's open, where exactly is it, how much to stay there).
Thanks Steve. Got your PM and responded.Native wrote:It's all good, Bill.
By the way, I've sent you a pm, too.
The only way you get registration e-mail reminders is if you go on MAE and put the event on your calender. I keep the schedule at least one event ahead of the one currently registering (usually more). Registration for every event opens a month ahead of the event date -- registration for the 28 March event opens 28 February. As far as when registration closes, we set it to a constant 10 days regardless of where it is to avoid confusion ("I thought the next event was at SPC...now registration's closed!"). They always open a month ahead, always close 10 days ahead. Surely responsible adults require no more handholding.WAFlowers wrote:What happened to the registration email reminders? Here it is, still 9 days before the event which isn't at Brooksville needing an early registration closing, and I find registration closed 36 hours ago!
Everyone wants freakin' special treatment for not keeping up.... There's plenty of walk-up spots.WAFlowers wrote:If y'all want lunch you better make sure to save a spot for me!![]()
And whatever gave you the idea that I was a responsible adult?Jamie wrote:Surely responsible adults require no more handholding.
150 feet from the finish lights to the edge of the grass. If you can't stop in that distance, you're asleep. Ditto if you can't slow enough to make the turn in 125 feet.Jamie wrote:125 ft from the finish lights to the turn...another 25-30 feet to the grass?
My poor left front tire...
