Trash talk warms my old heart. Almost makes me want to find an E2 car.

Little delayed, but another fine event put on by the FAST folks. I'm impressed at the attraction this club has compared to others considering the economy.

I had little to complain about except my usual helping of HP to cover my mistakes. The red car was down so out came the Mighty Mini...all 38 HP of it...course that was back in 1972...

It was a fun course that didn't require much accel (thank goodness) and flowed very well.

I was secretly hoping that I could nip the A class, but just missed them by oh several seconds. Maybe I'll add another carburetor or some negative camber arms or a Honda VTEC transplant or...

Thanks!

Tim

^^^ lol. When I looked at the results, which still list your Corvette, I saw you 4th in class and with a 40+ overall time. I figured you just had a bad day, but that still didn't make sense. Now I can rest...

As for the rest of you, with your "painliness" and "Mr. So-and-So" and "miata's are chick cars" and "240SX's are E2 legal."
OMFG, just shut up and come play.

And as for you Mustang connoisseurs - ever hear of a head-start? Or would you like me to explain it to you?

All this trash talk in E2 almost makes me wish I hadn't boosted the car..... NOT!!!

All I know is if the rest of the season is like it was this past Saturday E1 is going to be just as close. IIRC top 4 before my last run was all sitting in 36.4's it just sucks that Mark's fuel pump had to die after his 3rd run. He was on fire. I'm deffinatly counting the days to Brooksville...

You'd have to explain it...the only people who know about head starts are the ones waiting on the line while the slower car takes off....[/trash]

Tim: did you have to lift anywhere?

Matter of fact I did let off...the finish!

Anyway I can update the results to reflect the proper car? Not that I'm concerned about tarnishing the Corvette's image, but more appropriately giving some rare kudos to a Britsh car that actually handles well!

Maybe Loren will bring his proper car and we can have a 3-way battle...battle of chrome bumpers!

Someday. But, for now... my proper British sportscar has 3 wheels, no engine, no transmission, and no brakes.

We had wondered where we might get a ride to the drive-in for a bronto-burger.
