I know it's not your car. You wouldn't be foolish enough to put powder blue covers over your headlamps. Nice try though...nc4me wrote:Ed- What do you mean?

Ed- Whoa whoa, those blue covers are removable and were only put on to protect the headlights during install.
You're right about that not being my car though. Just wanted to see if anyone would believe it. I don't have enough skill to get the most out of my car with only 145whp, 420whp would just make things worse. It was good for a laugh from John though "And, uh, oh yeah-- good riddance, b33y0tch!"

You seem to have enough skill to exploit your new level of grip to the top of E2 now. Don't discount the positives, mi amigo!nc4me wrote:Ed- Whoa whoa, those blue covers are removable and were only put on to protect the headlights during install.

Uh-oh. His car's red-tagged, and now you offer him some hope, then pull the rug back out. Cheryl's probably talking him off the roof right now.... On the other hand, it'll mean the lights are safe until he heals up.nc4me wrote:You're right about that not being my car though. Just wanted to see if anyone would believe it. Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

That's not supposed to require so much effort.
So much trying. So much money spent, just to beat a couple of lowly mustangs.
Did you know that our suspension was introduced on the uber-fantastic, mighty handling machine that was the 1975 Ford Granada?
The 70's, as we all know, was the pinnacle of fine handling vehicle design. Yet to be surpassed despite numerous attempts.
The Miata was obviously an utter failure of an attempt to create a nimble, sports-ready roadster. Mazda just needed to cut the top of a 1978 Mercury Zephyr and paint 'zoom-zoom' on the side and they would have dominated the market.
BTW, Chris, I saw a grey miata the other day that looked just like yours and thought it might be you, but like every other time I see someone in a miata, it was just some girl.
