My son-in-law (noob) wants to co-flog the miata with me this month. How does he register as a co-driver?

He just needs to register and list your car as his vehicle. Would be helpful to Jamie if he put "co-driving with Ed" in the comments field, but if you're both driving in the same class, it won't matter, anyway.

So he lists my car with a different number and makes a note to Jamie, got it. Does the trailer still have magnetic loner numbers?

I have a ton of misc magnet numbers," 3,4,6," any double combination, you're more than welcome to borrow, let me know if you want me to bring them. 8-)

I think those are ancient history. They were deemed too small to be useful and ditched long ago. (or they may still be in the tech toolbox... but we don't use them)

We have an extra set of 2s, so he could register as 272 or 227 (I think you are 27?) if you want to use our numbers.

Pass the Peas hooked me up (cost 1 beer) with some magnet material. I am just going to cut 8"x1" strips to make a couple of 1s. This may be a good idea to keep a couple in the trailer.

127 or 271.

We always have tape if need be. Driver are responsible for their own numbers.

Tape is difficult in a 2 driver car, just sayin'.

Yeah. But, it's still the driver's responsibility. 8-)

We've got enough equipment to keep up with without people expecting us to have magnetic numbers for them.

I have four "1's" that I can donate, and if Ed needs some numbers just let me know. I have a set of 3 4 6 and 9's. Plus the 1's

question for this event :D

I was trying to be proactive and fill out the waiver and forms from the main page. The ones listed are from the 5/11 event. What should we fill out?

Wait until Steve posts the correct forms, the old forms are not valid.

Just as a reminder for everyone:
Being proactive is good and makes SPC registration go quicker.

This page:
http://drivefast.org/event-info/fees-entry-info/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

says this:
The Registration form is good only for the one event. Please do not download it and plan to re-use it. It would be nice if that would work, but SPC creates a new form for each “class” with unique identification numbers.

I usually get the new forms a few days before the event. I'll post when they are ready.

[Need someone for Safety. I'll be available to train, but last event of the season isn't the best time to start training someone new... so needs to be someone who's had at least "some" training.[/quote]

You don't need to train me.. but you know about my "commitment issues"[

Yeah... if I wanted to do it myself, I'd just do it. 8-) And I don't mind doing it... but if I do it all the time, nobody else learns to do it. So, I'm trying to get a few people well-trained in the art.

And nobody's jumped up for this event yet. I think Dave O is out of town for this one. He and Drew have been my primary trainees lately. Drew, you wanna do another one?[

Yes, I'm out for this one as well. My brother talked me into going to the Grand Am Race at Laguna Seca for the weekend. Darn it!
