Guys (and especially Muddy) I'm so sorry that my job has kept me so occupied what with a new implementation and county tax sales throughout the state. I volunteered with the best of intentions but I have not been any help to Brian.

What can I do at this point (since it would appear you have done it all)?

Sorry...

Hey, you suckered Muddy into chairing an event... we've been trying to do that for over a year!

Way to go, Mark! 8)

 I have barely done anything, yet. I just sent a new version of the course map to Ron last night. Get to work safety steward(s)!

Mark, I told you most of the work is on the morning of the event. So far, all I have done is the easy stuff.

Our safety steward(s) need to give me some feedback on the course map, first!

Just found out I have to work this weekend and can't go to autocross :( Someone will have to pick up the timing equipment from me or give me the numbers for the lock so I can put them in the trailer. I did get a chance to make new holders for the timing eyes, I got tired of messing around with the mikl crates. Enclosed are some pics. You just have to screw the caps with the electric eyes onto the end of the tubes. I tried them out and they are much easier to aim and should not be affected by sunlight or wind. You can adjust the inclination angle with the wing nuts on the back.

Wow, Howard - I haven't had the pleasure of setting up the lights, but those look awesome. Thank you!

I've pm'd you the combo for the lock.

Thanks for your effort, Howard (God, I sound like my boss). Anything that makes it easier for "n00bs" to set up the timing equipment is a win in my book... that means I can show up later!

Anyone on Generator gas detail? If not, I'll be there at 7am for set up and can get it in the morning. If the job does falls to me, could we leave the gas can at the gate?

EMERGENCY!!!

Postby WAFlowers » Tue Jun 05, 2007 9:32 pm

I've been out of town for the better part of 2 weeks. I flew home this evening and Thursday morning I leave again.

Until this morning I thought that I'd be here for this weekend.

Now I can pretty much guarentee that we won't be available to pull the trailer. I know it is incredibly short notice, but I didn't know until today (and most of today was spent travelling home from BFE which turns out to be somewhere in North Carolina -- even my cell signal went to zero almost 50 miles outside of the town I had to go to!).
The Jag complains about autoX by throwing Gearbox Faults.
I think it is just lazy.

Thats beat Bill, if work was fun they wouldn't call it work would they.

I can tow but, again I'd need a co-drive with somebody. Any Class A rides? Anyone?

I'm scheduled to fly home Friday night.

I'm also told that if it doesn't work (and what this system is doing has never been done before) I stay there.

Same as I was told last weekend, and the weekend before. (And I stayed).
