Getting the truck all ready in-case the vette doesn't make it (trying to out think Murphy). Got custom heim joint sway bar ends for the truck so I could reconnect the front sway bar. Man did it suck driving that dude without a sway bar. Trying to get my suburban rear sway bar hooked up but the damn lower bag mounts are in the way...hopefully this is all for nothing though.

Just FYI, if i do run the truck, I'll stick with M1.
Is it sad I almost want to just run the truck anyway?

I knew I wouldn't make it in time. What's the wait list procedure??

What didn't you make it in time for?
There are 49 entries for the morning event and 30 for the afternoon. Limit is 50 for each. Registration is open until March 6th.
Am I missing something?

Scott, run the morning, then zip home, grab the solo vee and fly back for the afternoon session. That poor lonely thing needs a workout. If you are too whooped, I'd be glad to exercise it for you.

Things are really starting to come together for this event. Even the course design is almost ready!
We do need a firm commitment from someone to haul the trailer. Eric? Ed?
Reminder: This needs to be a very early delivery so that setup can get started on time at 6:30. Saturday evening is probably an option.

Now that's a great idea! Not going to work this even, but maybe next split event!

I have a question, if someone pulls out of the morning session would it be possible to move from the afternoon session to the morning? Or is everything locked for this one.

I can do it if no one else will. Would Friday evening be cool?

Nothing is locked in until pre-registration closes. Watch for a morning cancellation (there's already been at least one) and if you're already registered for the afternoon, you can cancel that one and register for the morning with your event credit.
But, I'm not going to jump through any hoops to put up a wait list until the event is completely full (both sessions), so you'll just have to keep your eye on the entry list to catch that morning cancellation.

Awesome, Royce!
That leaves just 10 slots open in this 100-car event... and over a week of registration left. If it doesn't fill, it will certainly be close. Will feel good to know that we didn't have to shut anyone out for a change.

We really need to make sure the morning entries know that they have to be there no later than 8am for registration to make this work. I can see a few people that either didn't read the info on MAE and just thought that registration closes at 9am instead of 8am or just forgot.
So here you go..
Setup 6:30 8:30
Registration/Check-in 7:00 8:00
Tech 7:15 8:15
Course Walk 8:00 8:45
Novice Walk 8:45 9:00
Driver's Meeting 9:00 9:30
Group 1 9:30 10:30
Group 2 10:45 11:45
Clear Grid 11:45 12:00

I plan to send an email reminder out Thursday or Friday before the event to remind the "early" folks to be early and to set their clocks for the time change, as well as to let the "late" folks know what time they need to be there.

I'll know later this week if the Vette will be ready for the event. If not, I can tow it in Sunday morning (not sure on the return trip though).

Anyone else care to join the trailer tow pool? This is an easy one, just from Largo to St. Pete.
We do reimburse generously. (enough to at least cover your gas plus an entry fee if you're not getting 3 mpg)
