Yeah, that is the idea. Sometimes it is hard to come up with more than 5 qualified corner captains.

You can mark me down for 'corner capt' if need be. Don't know if I have enough events under my belt to be labeled as Captain

Makes sense to me. Sometimes you need more than 5 stations at brooksville, but you don't necessarily need more captains.

If you aren't listed as a novice, and I at least recognize your name, I will usually consider you qualified for corner captain duty in a pinch. The longer you have been around,the more likely you are to be selected as a captain.

Having never been to the Brooksville site for an event, what should I look foras far as an entrance? If its obvious like the SPC event then I'm sure I'll figure it out, but I just want to make certain. Is there a seperate security pat down area? Signage?? OR just look fo a mass of cars thats not in a "normal" parking area and head for them? I ask only because it is a secure area and I dont want to be arrested for being in the wrong spot early in the morning...hehehe.

If your coming from the south, turn left right after the railroad tracks and look for a guy with a clipboard.

We are lazy and don't put out signs. Just turn West off of 41 just North of the tracks and drive to the gate. Strip search only if you look suspicious.

Really looking forward to this weekend and seeing the differences between the two venues. The "long" runway layout looks as if it could carry considerably more speed than the SPC layout.

I got the mustang finished today but registration is closed for saturday and sunday, are any openings still available?
