Thanks, Jeff.

Before everyone asks, the large orange box is the area I expect cars to be closest to one another -- just a visual aid to make sure I kept 'em apart. I forgot to delete it before sending the image to Jeff.

Yes, there are two crossovers -- trying to get a few large turns into the mix.

Cone sizes are not to scale...event officials reserve the right to make adjustments in the interest of safety...etc, etc. Enjoy -- I'm looking forward to driving this one.

MusicalDiety - really sorry to have to tell you this, but it's too late. We have to submit a list of names to the Airport Security over a week in advance. It's already been submitted. They won't make changes/additions, so we can't either. Tim's gonna have to sit this one out. :(

Just for future reference, emailing me or Jamie (from here or the myautoevents site) is the best way to make contact - although the forum here works, too...

Charles -- I'm taking you up on your offer to arrange and pick up pizza.

Kenny -- are you bringing and setting up the timer?

Loren -- you're being drafted as safety/course marshal, since you're familiar with the design.

I still need someone to pick up a few cases of water, and if we think we need it, ice. Based on Bob Flowers' assessment, we have enough soda.

Meaty...here's where you come in handy. There is a very outside chance I could get pulled in to work this weekend...won't know until Friday evening, though, so it's best to be prepared. Make sure you're familiar with everything everyone's signed up for and the course laydown. I'll have some draft run groups broken down tomorrow, and should be able to e-mail copies to you and the registration crew tomorrow or Thursday. Everything has checklists, so there's nothing to invent. And I'll probably be there anyhow.

Jamie: I'll be there to help with setup and teardown and likely unloading the trailer and such.

If help with tech is needed and the course is done I'll help with that as well.

Do registered guests need ID to get in, or do they just have to be on the list?

If they are on the list, they are good. The list works by name and has nothing to do with your ID on this forum.
The Jag complains about autoX by throwing Gearbox Faults.
I think it is just lazy.

You need three forms of photo ID, a copy of your birth certificate, and a note from your mother.

(seriously... we should be checking ID's... at least for adults)

More importantly, the insurance gods have spoken...and along with the rest of the trio -- safety and airport security -- we really don't want to upset them....

Steve, I applaud your use of "teh" and "fastAr" (even though Dave doesn't drive an SRT-4), but I must stress that you need to capitalize the second 'A' in fastAr. Substituting said 'A' with a '4' is also acceptable.

Those temps look outstanding though. I'm really looking forward to it. In other news, all timing equipment will be charged by the morning. That's all from my end, back to you Jamie.

I was sure I regged for this event, but I just checked and I'm not. I do see that Jeff canceled, is there some way I could jump in last minute here? Sorry for the lameness, if it would be a pain don't worry about it.

Edit: Sent a groveling email to wedrivefaster@yahoo.com.

he also should have ended it with "!!!!!!11111!!!!11!!11111!!!!"

:P

Installed/Torqued the subframe mounts and engine mounts last night... it looks so empty under there without the x brace :(

I'll answer for them.. unfortunately there's nothing that can be done. The airport (and I guess government since 9/11?) require a full list of names x days before the event (a week I think). No changes can be made to that list once it's turned in. :(
