According to UPS, my new radiator is out for delivery this afternoon. You should get Grey8 ready.

How long did you work on that car? :whip:

Mines up and running! Although I see a lot of cone mark buffing in my future next week. Oh wait, I don't even wash my car now.

Now I know why Joe never hangs around for lunch. He knows who's bringing it.

 That's really funny Ron.

3 years so far but I never missed an event just because it was slow or drippy bladder and it only broke at one event from a newer frayed fan belt cutting thru two coil wires and telling the ECU the car was stolen - tow to dealer mandatory. That cost me $450 mostly of computer rehab time and flashes at the dealer. My permanent fix is on RX8 website cost $1.95 piece of angle iron to protect those two coils. There is only one tech at the Mazda dealer who works on RX8's. His name is Sean.

Now I learn there is only One Tech at the big local Chevy dealer who is allowed work on Corvettes. Shit. Here I go again. His name is Larry.

When you get old you don't ask for "last" names. Too final. "F" words are better. Like FAST, Fun, Furry, Fart....you get it.

ANY info would be appreciated at this point.
First on my list is a full set of repair manuals or CD/DVD with it? Prices are all over the map to get a set of 3 paper ones.

You can pm me or twistedwankel@hotmail.com is my email.

Thanks,

Doug

Bring your pink slips if you are running the afternoon and your car is "actually" listed in Kelly's Blue Book.

Otherwise you suck.

The Mayor.

Trailer is on-site thanks to Paul. Site appears to have no surprises (no new fences, holes, or other anomalies). Weather looks about as good as we can expect for this time of year. All of the other ducks are lined up.

Let's do this!

See ya'll tomorrow!

Matt S.: Appreciate the gracious offer...I'd be afraid a car that requires skill to hustle, would show I have little!

I think my bucket of bolts will get me thru the day...we will see with its soft coolant system, leaking axle boot, untested suspension, worn BFG's, ABS light, ticking time-bomb motor...

I can only hope for Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain and Rain!

So you want to have your shakey car towed home in a torential downpour in the morning after you blow it up or spin out on the way home with no abs in the " Tampa downpour" on bald tires? Okay.

Memo to morning course work crew: "Make him push it off the course all by hisself in the rain."

Thanks in advance to the morning run group for cleaning off the track for us sleep ins. :thumbwink:

I bet Tony lowered his insurance deductible too with those crazy big rear balloon tires. With a 40% chance of meatballs.
