Great pics, man! The first couple of them really capture what autocross is about. I liked the pics of the people as well. We don't see enough of those, typically.

There were some really cool cars. I'm not a particular Toyota fan, but Dave's MR2 is awesome, as well as the AE86. I had never seen one in real life. The 280Z was also pretty sweet, as was that outrageous Malibu.

There are autocrossers that show up at drag strips. And now I know there are drag racers that show up at autocrosses! :)

I had a good time, and got to hang out and talk with autocross friends, old and new. The events don't happen without a 100% volunteer effort, so thanks to everyone.

I loved the big turnout in S4... 15 cars... so many little hatchbacks, turbo and otherwise (and Miatas too!).

Good to meet Kevin in the other ST. He improved by 10 seconds throughout his runs. I hope he keeps it up.

Also good to meet Jim in the black, first gen Mazdaspeed 3. He sounds exactly like John Goodman. It's uncanny.

Keep it up, Josh! You're getting faster and faster!

Sorry Trevor Renson couldn't attend this one. I like having to bite my nails through the afternoon session, waiting for the results to post! :)

Oh, and how 'bout that weather! :sunny:

I did like seeing S4 full and with a lot of unfamiliar faces! Setting up and running in the am session was a nice change.

Thanks Chuck, I am trying new things, I think the new front sway is the biggest improvement for the money so far. I love it when my little 1.6 can hold its own against other heavier hitting cars! Although, it looks and sounds like fun to drive that ST.

My fastest clean run was my first. One and done! Lol

This was my first autocross ever, and i had such a great time. I accomplised my goals of keeping the cones up, and not being last. I can not wait for the next event.

Payton, glad you had a good time! There's lots more where that came from...

And just as a friendly reminder to those drag racers, street racers, and anyone else it may concern, we do not allow nitrous bottles. Please leave em at home. 8-)

Thanks for the reminder Steve! My drag racer mentality never thought about taking out the nitrous to go racing! It was not on ever during the event (or I would've flown through the parking lot even faster). It will be left in my garage next time (4/12).

Thanks Mark. Wasn't trying to single you out. It's something that happens once in a while, and the tech inspectors, who aren't the same guys each time, need the reminder too.

yeah, that whole "no pressurized container over 200PSI" rule messed up my whole plan for my first FAST event. I had to go buy a small air compressor instead of using the AL50 scuba tank I usually use.

The 280Z, Malibu and AE86 were some of my favorite cars there too. All cool cars you don't often see at an autocross these days.

Fixed that for you.

We get very few cars that are even older than 1990 any more. But, I guess 1990 was 25 years ago, wasn't it?

I am getting dizzy from all the avatars showing cars running at Brooksville. They all look the same to me, and a lot of silver cars to make it even worse.
