Don't "need" a 2nd driver, but you are always more than welcome in my S. However the old tires are down to the wear bars, slicker than snot and unlikely to be replaced by then.Dave-ROR wrote:anyone got a car that needs a second driver?

All drivers attending this event should be experienced drivers, so newer drivers really shouldn't be involved. Also, drivers of similar "past results" for lack of a better term will run together, so you won't have a class champion driving against someone who placed 30th last year in that class.nc4me wrote:I'm assuming that the driver on the east loop would be at the crossover first. The crossover is my only concern. If you have a
slower car on the east loop and a faster car on the west we might have a problem. Even though the guy on the east loop should get there first I assume. If he messes up there is a possibility of a collision. With both drivers focused on the track I'm worried they won't see each other. Especially if this gets opened to the public. As we race we're supposed to look ahead which lessens the risk, but I'm worried that some newer drivers might know that they're supposed to look ahead, but don't. I'm not suggesting we make changes to the course. I just think we need to make sure that at the drivers meeting everyone is fully aware of the crossover and that people realize it's not a game of chicken. If you think it's going to be close at the crossover than back off if your on the east loop since chances are you will probably lose.
It will be covered, watched, and handled. We appreciate your concern, and it is warranted, but it will all be taken care of. We'll likely have a dedicated worker who's job it is to monitor that situation and be ready to flag the faster driver to back off if necessary before proceeding to the East loop.nc4me wrote:I'm assuming that the driver on the east loop would be at the crossover first. I was just daydreaming a bit and the thought of me and you on a pair of matched RZ350's strolling this course entered my mindfast 5 racing wrote:maybe he should attend: a push harder suck less , driving school!![]()
