I'm pretty sure you posted a faster time than me on those tires last time you ran them, too!
Yikes.

Jamie wrote:Done. Welcome back to Miatas, and intro to R-compounds. Just remember, no ABS.

It will be interesting!
The last few events have filled early, and not too many no shows. We're getting popular again....
That is both good news and bad news.

I remember my first event back in Feb of this year. We were all able to get 9 runs at SPC!!!! I haven't seen that many since then!!

9 is unusual. Average is 6.

If I can't do it in six, I probably ain't gonna. Having said that, I always feel like I could have used one more run. Is this how autocross is?

Man I hear that. My best run is usually my 4th, and it's all downhill from there. I start trying too hard.

Those do tend to be some "fun" runs though.

C'mon. Not the point. As SCCA says, most autocrosses are less than a minute, but the adrenalin last well into the week.

SPC in February is not Brooksville in June, especially when you're a courseworker....

All I was saying guys was at "SPC" my first event we had 9 runs, and since then we have had around 6. My first event there was something like 50 cars entered.
I understand that at Brooksville depending on the course setup one lap takes more time then at SPC.
On average my fastest lap is my last lap, so I wouldn't complain if at any given even there were more laps.
When there are high car counts everything is going to move slower bottom line.

6 is the perfect number for me
1-2 I underdrive
3-4 my best runs
5-6 I overdrive
so really I just need 2 it just has to be my 3rd and 4th run

So you are saying we should stop at 4 runs and go home.

Oh, there is a "slight" chance I won't make the event. I've got a friend that's trying to get me to go to Savanna to be a crew member for his HSR team. Waiting to find out my work load next week and if I can even afford to go. I'll know by end of day Wednesday.

Wow, sweet vette.
To view the course map review previous post by the safety guy. There's one change though. The cone where it says concrete rubble, will be moved one line to the right. You can print the map and change it yourself or nag Jeremy to post the correct one, that I just emailed him.
