January 6th is here. Nobody dropped yet. Sooo ..... Are you sure you can make it? If you can't make it, I might know somebody who would take your place. Farzad doesn't want to compete in E1 by himself!

Bad news... Transmission just lost 3rd and 4th gears this morning and I doubt I'll have time to rebuild it by Saturday and have it broke in.
Let me know if you still need someone to do clean up at the end of the day I'll just drive up in my truck and spectate.
Sorry,
Ron

Ron - sorry to hear about your car. If you don't want to come spectate, please don't drive all the way up just for clean up. I'm sure there will be plenty of hands to help out. Thanks for letting us know.

+1, although we appreciate the offer. A busted car is grounds for an event credit, too -- use that option next time you register. Registration for February opens up this week.

Steve:
Has Howard been informed of my plans to pick up the trailer on Friday and drop off on Sunday? Anyone up for a ride along either day?

Alright I won't be showing up for the autocross this weekend, so feel free to give my spot to someone who wants to drive. I'm going to take my day off to rebuild that transmission. Time for red alto clutches and a shift kit!!!

I didn't do any of that stuff, I'm just gonna beat up Brian's 240. Maybe burn up the clutch. 8)

Another Corvette drops out due to mechanical failure...only this time it's the nut behind the wheel. Sorry for the late notice; thought I could beat this cold, but it isn't happening. Hope someone is on the gate list to use my spot, or maybe they can just use my name. This would have been my first time with you guys and the course looks like it will flow well for big cars. BTW, thanks for posting the track map before the event; it's a big bonus for geezers.

I'm fighting a cold, too... hope I don't feel as crappy tomorrow morning as I did this morning!
(and I'm not doing ride-alongs tomorrow, I don't want to spread this!)

Crap, I just remembered that I have a big bin of timing stuff and the padded timer case to bring and I'm supposed to be bringing Alex with me. Not enough room in the car. Anybody nearby able to swing by and take some of this stuff this evening?
