I'm in! Just registered for the novice school and autocross. Really looking forward to gaining a new skill set behind the wheel and then trying them out on Sunday while there still fresh! :D

Thnx,

Hi Loren,

I just realized that I didn't ever post that I would like to volunteer on Novice Day. No preference, whatever you need me to do. My girlfriend Christa is signed up for the class, and is really looking forward to it.

Thanks,

Thanks, Tony. I'm gonna keep you on the back burner for now. If registration fills up, I'll probably go ahead and add you as an extra worker, though. I'll let you know.

Is there a topic for the Mar 13 autocross, or is all the info in this one ?
Racing against my NEON is like getting in a fight with a girl, if you win you, you can't brag about it, and if you lose, you hope nobody finds out!

And we're full. 32 students!

Anyone volunteers that I put on hold pending attendance are being added to the active list. This should give us a few extra people, which is good.

I'm going to start working on emails to send to students and volunteers soon.

Thanks, everyone! This is going to be a great school, as always.

Likewise, a questionnaire was emailed to all students a few days ago. 19 of them responded within 24 hours, the rest are still in limbo. Need those back, folks!

OK, so not panicing but we've had a couple of volunteers (both work and instruct) back out. If you haven't signed up and would like to join the fun, please let me know.

What happens overnight during this two day weekend? Can we leave the course set up? Does the gate get locked and is the area semi-secure? I'm thinking about leaving the Suburban down there and just driving the Miata so that we don't have to drive both vehicles both ways both days.

Yeah, it's all gated. I don't think anyone's left a vehicle out there before, but we leave the trailer out there if we have the site for both days. It's "ours" for the weekend, so it shouldn't be a problem unless Steve knows otherwise.

We do need to be mindful not to block access to anything, but there's plenty of room to make that easy.

Hey folks,

Unfortunately Mary and I won't be able to make the Sunday Autocross. That means someone needs to help out by bringing the supplies.
We will be at the school on Sat!

Sorry, Scott

Yeah we'll leave the trailer and cones...we just need to throw our stuffs in the trailer for safe keeping.

We only need to reeset the police course when we're done Sunday.

We do, thanks, Josh! Wouldn't hurt us to have still 1-2 more... and we do need another instructor if any of you experienced types haven't volunteered yet.

I need to know what supplies we have and how much to pick up for the school day. Has anyone taken inventory?

Thanks, Scott
