Whoo hooo, just picked up new shoes for the vette. The tires aren't the best, but they fit in my decreasing budget, so I'm hoping the massive width will overcompensate!

I wonder if these are fat enough....

Quantity has a quality all its own.

Nice course, however, I think there may be some speeding violations on the back half...just saying.

Don't get too excited, the course will be pre-run and adjusted as necessary.

No, and believe me, I would LOVE to wind the Z out on that course. I just don't want to endanger our position there at the site because of excessive speed. Especially if there were to be an "incident".

The course designers are aware of the last quarter of the course. Like Loren said, it'll get tested, and we'll slow it down if it looks like trouble. We knocked around a few versions of that section, and decided to publish, well, that one. FAST events are safe...no speed-related (or any type) "incidents" allowed. :thumbleft:

Timing is set up and ready to go. Weather report looks hot but at least it should be dry. See everybody Saturday morning. :thumbwink:

I'll be fetching the trailer today. I forgot to ask if I can drop it tonight. It will be off to the left side by the connex.

I will fetch ice on the way in tomorrow morning but we probably need to assign someone to get more at lunch.
