I'm gunnin' for Chris... which must mean I'm gunnin' for you, too!

<joe isuzu>But, John's car is slow and we haven't been practicing.</joe isuzu>
I'm gunnin' for a course map :D . Please :lust: .

I'm just going to try and drive my best so I can hopefully win my battle with Drew. I am a slight bit distracted since Jason Ball and another modded NC that I've never seen before are running in M2 this event.

It would help to see the course :thumbwink: . Must mentally prepare!!!!!! 8-)

Look at it this way, Chris... if you're not seeing the course, your competition isn't, either.

Dave is running final change suggestions past Brian. I'll probably be drawing up the final map tomorrow night. If you can envision "slalom down, slalom back", you've pretty much got 85-90% of the course.

WTF how else can I drift my drift car?

Slalom out and back sounds like a Deland autocross :( Hopefully it's not just a straight out and back slalom :)

LOL ! No pin turns, and it's a usual Brooksville course, offset gates, slaloms, turnaround, a chicago box, etc. etc. Not a whole lot you can do with Brooksville if you want two cars on the course at a time.

This is the infamous slalom course  ! http://drivefast.org/wp/Maps/Brooksville_2009_04.pdf

I almost barfed after every run :bangwall: . I hope this course isn't quite this slalomy :dunno: .

That's not the course for this event. Chris is just trying to confuse you. (and succeeding)

Sorry, no time for smilies, I'm working on prettying up Brian's course map!

I'll have it done soon, then final review by the committee, and it should be posted tomorrow.

Brian, I've been using MS Word's drawing tools to do course maps for years. Simple and effective. Let me know next time you design a course and I can send you one of the documents. Figuring out how to use the drawing tools is on you!

And now... here's Brian's course:

I dig it! :thumbwink: Positioning the exit of those slaloms will be critical. One actually looks like the option shouldn't differ too much either way. We'll see how it plays out though.
