Maps, got it covered.
Brian, could you pick up a box or 2 (or 3?) of those individually wrapped cookies on your supply run? You know the kind. Folks seem to like a little somptin' sweet after lunch. Anyone want to help him with his shopping?
hummm, what else?

Ed I should be there no later than 8am, I will get with you and Jim and make a list, just remind me about the cookies. I will get anything you guys put on the list.
Course looks kickass ! Never seen that long of a course at SPC, yeah everyone will have to walk it a few times and make mental notes as to where to go, don't see it as a problem.
Jeremy, I've always enjoyed talking to you and being social at the events, I will gladly print you out a course map or two.

^^^ the evil genius did most all the work on the course but Jim and I are claiming ALL the credit, unless it sucks, then you can blame him.

High-Res PDF

HOLY CRAP, THAT'S PURE AWESOMENESS! Can't wait to see the vids from this one. Hope to see you guys in January or at least by February. May just be doing SPC events in 2013. If the Vette doesn't get fixed, for February's event I might tow the trailer and just race the Truck! Gotta test out those adjustable QA-1s and new tubular control arms.

Most important thing you can do is walk the track over and over again walk it like you would drive it try and look ahead everything you would do in your car will your running. Maps are great but hard to read when your racing

I'm reminded of Steve's attempting to get people to print the SPC forms on line on one sheet the day before the event only to see 10 people do it. So he has to pay to print a shit load of them unnecessarily. I print them out just to make my registration quick and easy and save him a big pile of paper to deal with. Sadly he has to wait for SPC to give him the latest version at the last minute.
This time I have the reg form early

and will be posting it at some point this weekend. It is much simpler if entrants show up with the form done.

I love this guy but in a "good" wholesome way.
Might run him for a councilman in Dougopolous.

Any body ever figure out what course
up till now has had the most "off course" occurrences in one event?

It should make you faster because I plan on printing out the maps using the "turbo mode" on my printer.

I'm sure there will be a few DNF's , but if everyone walks the course enough, and makes mental notes where to turn it shouldn't be an issue. The first run, for most of us, will never be the best one anyway, so take your time on the first run and get it down. Plus if you're not the first few cars running, take a ride with someone else. If I'm in the first run group, I will start up front and take whoever wants to ride along with me on all of my runs.
I have a feeling after a couple runs, this will be one of the funnest courses we have run at SPC.
