Having made plans to be at Brooksville with our club all weekend, I have no idea what the other clubs are doing. :headscratch: This thread wouldn't be the place to discuss it, anyway!

Saw the note on the course map - why must starts be on the left side?

Because there's a rather large green immovable obstacle on the left side that we'd rather not risk someone hitting if they lose it at the finish. Safety first.

No, not the porta john. I guess it's so big you never noticed it. Have a look this weekend. I promise, you can't miss it... and you wouldn't want to crash into it with your car.

I know the object you mean. I never thought about it in terms of a finish obstacle, because we always start over there.

I was just trying to set up Doug for a witty comment.

Okay. We invented a left side start some time ago. BUT we have to try and get a shit load of runs in only one hour due to having a shit load of entrants in two "events".

So. I invented an RX8 course with only one sound...whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaDawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaPoo.

Good luck as the S2 is the last run group of the day. :whip:

It's past registration deadline, so it looks like I can't change my class myself.

Could someone please change me back to M1? Thanks.

I'll go to S2 next season.

You'll have to change your class with Timing. And you'll be running with the S2 group this time, regardless.

Have fun all! Although Charles was nice enough to let me co-drive, I won't be able to make the event. Too bad I wasn't able to cancel before registration ended...memorial service for a guy who had my same health issues. Sobering reminder.

Until next time...

We get to experience the fun of autocrossing in the rain!

This is an all-weather sport. As always, dress appropriately.

Do we really care where Chuck runs classed or underclassed? I don't. S1 is happy to not have a "spoiler" in their season points race. Dealing with Jim is hard enough on them:)

Don't care at all, Doug. I just didn't want to rework the worker list for yet another after-registration change.

He doesn't know it yet but he can help us pack up the trailer as a second worker assignment for our "kindness":)

Thanks for the info. Oh and I did all ready print them out so shame on me for being efficient. I'll pencil the copies as needed.

So far, the only change is that Aaron isn't coming. There will be more, of course.

Bring your own empty Class 10 microSD card and give mine a try.
