It's the lost art of proper English!! Avoided the dangling preposition and used the proper objective case, my oh my. :snicker:
:rolling:
Mom was an English teacher and she learnt me good...

The surface is smooth, unsealed asphalt and the couple of times I've been there it has been clean. Might not even need the leaf blower, maybe...

My mom was an English teacher too and I used to grade Steve's papers while she made lesson plans. You'll never catch him dangling his participles.:rolling:

Loren wrote:I haven't publicized this mainly just because I've got plenty of other things to do in preparation for this event (such as finishing the course map), but I have an unofficial wait list for this event with two names on it already. You want on it, Matt? (hint: I have control of the canceled slots, muahahahaha)
I would like to be added to said list please. (if this holds true anyway)

Holes in car have been successfully stuffed with cash!
Some settling in and some final alignment tweaks are no doubt still in order, and the lumpy old tires are still in place. They will be replaced with that new tire smell in time for next weekend, providing Brown Santa (UPS) is up to their usual snuff.
I'll be back in my own driver's seat for this one! :thumbwink:

I think I love you guys. A very nice course map more than a week before the event? At a site at which you haven't previously run an event!? In all my years I've never heard of such a thing. Awesome.

Looks to be a very interesting course/location!

Bummer to miss it...almost makes we want to stay rather than head to California via the 'Great Road Trip of 2013'! 7,000 miles of fun.

Very interested to see how TBD works out.

We'll see you in July!

Cheers!

Tim

Nice :thumbwink:

Looking forward to see what you can do with the new set up. I'm sure the rest of the guys in your class are hoping for a learning curve. ;)

That was awesome and kind of stupid ! $1600 would have bought you a used SC or turbo, of course it wouldn't be as much fun to watch.

A friend in high school had a Monza Spider, it would give my 1970 Olds 442 w-30 a run for it's money. He had headers and exhaust and carb work, and that was it. Car felt faster than it was because it rattled and shook bad, and the car was only 7 years old at the time. They weren't built much better than a Vega.
