We picked the right weekend for this event :thumbwink:

I'm sitting in my office in Oldsmar this morning listening to the rain pouring down outside. - Glad it wasn't this weekend.

This. Is the best autocross video... in the world.

Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

Funny. And the BMW he mentioned at the end is the first-timer I was riding with on his first run. We spun through the finish...didn't hit the lights, but left a trail of cones in our wake. (He got much better.)

Hernando County is a different Universe from Yall. Beautiful sunny hot day from dawn to dusk. Same time different place.

Rain has been both in very early wee hours or well after 4:30pm the once or twice a week it rains anymore. Getting to be old time normal sea breezes again. The local lakes have all filled up with water again adding to the rain forest effect.

There is no reliable long term forecast for Brooksville Airport other than my big toe.

Just FYI - that photo was taken with my cell phone. Meaning, you don't need a DSLR (although I have one) to photograph at an AX event. TBD has that nice shaded spectator area that affords a good view of most of the course. I decided to stay for part of the afternoon and was able to return, in small measure, Phillip's generous favor :)

PS - will see you all mid-July; this coming weekend I am staying home making sure the new addition to the canine household doesn't get eaten by my cat.

LOL, saw the mom autocross video come across my Facebook news feed a day or so ago. Totally thought it was one I had seen before. That was awesome. My mom and mother-in-law both loved their first rides as well. I wish I had video of their expressions for those runs. Wasn't as good as the video above though. :thumbwink:
