Dave, you can co-drive my S if a working car is the issue.

The SPC registration and liablity forms are now available on the FAST website:
http://www.wedrivefast.com/AboutOurEven" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... fault.aspx

They are on the Fees and Entry Info page under "About our events"

Like I said, I sometimes don't get them until the last minute.

You can download them and fill them out ahead of time - if you do please print them back to back on one page. You DO NOT have to download them - they will be available on site that morning.

good luck all, no plans to be there myself, I might stop by though.
Is that because you don't have a car to drive? When are you going to get that damn Integra of yours ready?!
Actually that's not why :) The S2000 is getting picked up on Thursday so I want to make sure everything is good to go with the car, and I need to get it's temp replacement running (the Grand Marquis), or make sure it still runs anyways, and then I need to gut the Integra to figure out why it's shutting down while driving and acting like I moved the key to the Acc position, you put it in ON (or what Honda labels "II" I think) and none of the dash's idiot lights, etc light up at all.. not sure if it's an alarm problem or ignition circuit issue, but I need to fix it..

so in short, I'll be fixing my cars instead of autocrossing :(

Thanks for the offer, I may have to take you up on it sometime, but I'll hopefully be autocrossing the best autocross car ever soon.. the best handling most nimble car ever.. a 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis HPP :P

Handling and Performance Package, combined with the tow package basically equals a P71 Crown Vic (police interceptor) but with a larger sway bar.

Are all the job spots filled? Kim - did you still need someone to help with set-up? We just need to know if we need to be there right at 7 in the morning or not.

Even though there's a spot open for set up on the list, it doesn't mean it's not filled. Either way you're more than welcome to help with set up, there's normally 5 or 6 people pitching in anyhow. It's a really good way to learn the course. :D

I'm pretty familiar with how the work assignments and schedule works. This isn't my first time. But it is my husband's first time driving and since he had volunteered to help with set-up, I don't want to get in a situation where we decide to sleep in late and she's got him 'scheduled' to help. If she does have him 'assigned' for set-up, we'll make sure we set the alarm for early. I just hadn't heard back and the schedule of work assignments hasn't been updated. Thanks. :D

Okay, now I understand, this would probably be a question for Jamie, I'm sure he already has all the work assingments figured out. Hopefully he sees this and can answer your question before tomorrow morning, what's your husbands name?

To anyone who might know -

I see there are 69 people pre registered on the myautoevents website. Will walk ons still be accepted?

The list is updated on jobs...

Jeremy and Bob can both help with setup... that's great. Thanks for offering. :)

Lunch is taken care of... and I'll print maps tonight.

For the sake of sanity an old map was chosen, I believe it is one of Loren's and its 4 1/2 years old... so even those who did drive it shouldn't mind doing it again at this point. So here it is...

With this course it seems the second car release will have to be very delayed, with all the entrants how many runs to you think we might get?

I don't think it's quite as bad as it looks. Should yield a 30-35 second start interval. The hard part is setting it up so that people don't get lost in the crossovers. Hope somebody remembered to get chalk.

We will have a sign up list, when registration opens, once 9am ish rolls around Steve and I will determine how many no shows we have and figure out how many walk ons we can take. It's first come first serve, the first person on the list will be first to register and so on, so your chances to get on are better the earlier you sign up.

Even with 69 pre-reg'd, there should still be a few who don't show, which means there will be at least a few walkup spots available. Like Solar-dude said, first-come, first-serve.

I expect so. I had to do a few manual loads last night, when I realized our esteemed event chairs and a couple of key volunteers hadn't registered...figured Steve wouldn't let me be a hardcase and make them go to the waiting list....

Anyone know who's bringing the timer? I didn't see Kenny's name on the list, and it typically ends up in the trunk of his car.
