Does anyone know of a location here locally that sells this off the shelf?

for some obscure reason ATE Super Blue is not available in Fl. I purchase mine from Bavarian Autosport 1-800-535-2002.

17 bucks/liter online. Not too bad, if you're boiling fluid regularly.

Dave, unless you're planning for a track event, or an "Enduro" autocross, you're not likely to get your brakes hot enough to need ATE. Just get some Valvoline SynPower or Castrol LMA from your local parts store and be happy.

I read that stuff can stain your plastic parts such as the plastic reservoir used by ford.

Does this stuff wear a cape?
Or is it like the "balls" blue? Backed up from not driving home after foreplay?
I had a mechanic resolve my "missing" brake fluid and he did good. Bad seal on master cylinder "sucking fluid".
If you have "sucking fluid" in your brakes while autocrossing get a different mechanic and live with DOT 3 in a new master cylinder.

I realize this stuff isn't the end all, be all of brake fluid, and now know it can stain, but my reasoning for switching to this was to know when I had a complete flush of the system accomplished.
I have since bled and closed this chapter w/Castro LMA, and discovered the system takes FOREVER to push fluid through w/10psi behind it. And this was after numerous hours spent designing and building a master cylinder cap to use in conjunction with my Motive bleeder system.
