Another awesome event! I believe I clenched FTD for the first run group, but I was a ringer in the stock classes running with me. Very fun course, another winner!!!

Special thanks to Jim Reid for his tip on using compressor to back blow mold out of windshield washer nozzle. Very critical in Love Bug season. Worked flawlessly. As did the torential downpour In Hernando Cty 10 miles from home to fill in for plugged washer :)

Never again will I use "plain water" in the washer for extended periods. Forgot about mold and algae in FL :bangwall: DOH I put bleach in the AC drip line every month just for that very reason.

Well-played, Jeremy.

Great event! The course that Steve and I came up with worked out pretty well. Challenging and fun to drive, like a good course should be. Not a lot of cones hit, either.

Will post the results as soon as I get them from Ron. Congrats to newcomer Les Davis in the Yella' Vette for his FTD!

Thanks to more people than I can name for making this another fantastic FAST event, and HUGE thanks to the large group of folks who stuck around to help clean up and pack at the end of the day. We had the course reset and the trailer packed in a little over half an hour. Lots of hands helping is the only way that ever gets done so quickly.

The best laugh of the day is the Rice Cake.

Amazing number of people couldn't resist trying to pop the bubbles.

Bet that's why I had to replace my solar cover every year when the kids were home.

It was a beautiful day. For sure.

Completely agree! It was little hard to keep the backend in line with worn out tires and 400+ HP under the right foot!

Very fun course, great lunch too! Welcome to FAST Les and congratulations on the FTD! High point of the day for me was getting to run Marks Exige around the course! What a great car!

Great event. I missed the last event in march at SPC and forgot how fun it is. Amazing course which was tricky but not confusing. Lunch was a home run!!
The highlight for me was Evan Nadav and I had a great view of the burnout contest winner in the afternoon Run 2. :-D Looking forward to TBD.

Great event everyone! Kudos to Loren and Steve for the course design, IMO that was a nearly perfect use of the pavement available there. The course flowed beautifully allowing for a intuitive drive, but with the various decreasing radii and a couple of technical "gotcha" spots it kept you on your toes and rewarded fundamentals like looking ahead, patience, and "tight is right" in many spots. The club I've been running with for years back in NC, THSCC, has worked with similar sized lots but the surfaces aren't nearly as nice and consistent as SPC, its a very nice site. You all seem like a great group of people and run a great event and you can't beat the included lunch with covered picnic area and all, top notch! It was great meeting many of you and since I'm a permanent relocation to the Tampa Bay area, you should be seeing lots more of me and the "Banana Beast" though I did say I was taking the year off, we'll see.

Speaking of my car, this was the first event in a long time where the Chevy has performed flawlessly, I've been chasing lots of gremlins in that car and it was nice to finally have it perform and drive correctly after many events with mechanical issues. A frantic effort late last week putting my rear suspension back together with more heim joints, seemingly eliminating my dynamic rear camber issues, thankfully, that helped me be able to drive it with much more confidence. Seems that my garage alignment job was even pretty good. :)

Once again, thanks for a great event and I look forward to many many more with you good folks of FAST.

SPC does spoil us...shade, fans, flush plumbing.... The next visit to Brooksville (in August, for good measure!) should make you feel more at home. :)
