Yeah, it's only 8:25am and the event's not even started yet. What of it?

who got FTD ???
Racing against my NEON is like getting in a fight with a girl, if you win you, you can't brag about it, and if you lose, you hope nobody finds out!

Had a blast today, even using a vehicle that's in no way at all setup for autocross. Had a blast doing it and will load up my video montage when I get a chance. Look forward to seeing how I finished overall.

Had a lot of fun today, I believe in the end Les pulled out the FTD clearing Loren off the chart. Driving my dad's exige made me really want a rwd car.
Eric it was pretty awesome watching you out there in the truck, especially when you decided it was time to drift.

Good times at the FAST Season Finale! Everyone pitched in and built a fun and smooth-running event today.
I think I'm getting rid of the Li'l Stinker and getting a motorhome for next season-- I need industrial strength AC.
Much respect to the M2 crew (and the rest of you, for that matter). There is some serious skill in this club.
Come out and play with us at the Endurocross at Brooksville in August. Shouldn't have any trouble getting heat into your tires.

Great event today, getting done early really helps beat the heat. See you guys (and gals) again in September.

Re: July 7, 2013 - SPC - Post Event
Man o man today was great! The usual cast of thousands (give or take...) put on a wonderful show. Drew (and his course) made chairing easy, and we had all sorts of help all day long from first thing in the morning to the 10 or so folks who stuck around and helped put the police course back (in record time, no less). Some folks worked all day long, or did multiple jobs, and that cooperation really makes the events go smoothly and the club as a whole really tick! I'll specifically call out Matt Brooks - he was the guy keeping the coolers full and iced, and the trash cans useable. He made 3 runs to the store for water and ice (or was it 4), and kept it up all day. Very much appreciated Matt, and a big thank you to all!
Yeah, it was hot. I think we went through, what, 15 cases of water? Some of corner workers got a real workout chasing cones! The little bit of rain held off until right around the end of cleanup, giving a little cloud cover while everything got put away - that was good. Overall, I think everyone survived.
The run groups moved smoothly - I know there were a few re-runs, but nothing out of the ordinary. After the first run group went very quickly, we opted to do 6 runs. Later groups seemed to take a little longer (not sure why), but we still kept almost exactly on schedule all day.
Doug's lunch was well-received as usual - I know I say several folks enjoying the frozen treats he picked up!
I could go on, but I'll just sum up that I think this club rocks. Well done, everyone!

Last count of inventory:
32 bottles of water and 18 cans of non diet Ginger Ale in one cooler. That is all.
Thanks all I really had a great day. Shamu says thanks to Mike M. too for another 1st sticker. But then he gets a T shirt that says: "If you think I suck Shamu sucks more."

75th out of 90! Yeah, I'm thrilled with that.
Anyone want to help rebuild my 700-4R?

I was turrible, turrible, turrible. Didn't I just get new tires?
Guess I ran out of talent.
Congrats to Charles for taking the winner-take-all M2 season championship. Wish I could have made it tough for you yesterday.

Yes, Those are mine. Since I'm in Sarasota, perhaps they can find a happy place on the shelf in the trailer, and I'll grab them at my next event?Native wrote:LOST and FOUND:

After a relatively long absence, it was great to see nothing has changed with FAST. I had a great time. Thank you to the ones who make it happen.
I expected poor driving from myself, and wasn't disappointed!
On the flip side, I'd like to thank the person who assigned me the instructor job. That was the best part of my day. I worked with Corey Johnson and Rachel Hoffman. Both drivers made tons of improvement through their runs. I'm proud of the progress they made.
