So, what are the current specs? And what are your plans?

Still trying to figure out the finial plan. But, here's an option...

In 1965 Shelby American ordered up 20 cars to participate in the SCCA Trans-Am Series. All of the notchbacks were ordered in Wimbledon White with black interiors, 271 Horsepower 4V 289 engines, four speed transmissions and 3.89 rear axle ratios with Detroit Locker "No-Spin" units. They also came equipped with 15" x 6" steel wheels, front disc brakes, adjustable "export" shock absorbers, export front end brace, heavy duty front springs and GT fog lamps. Deleted were the outside mirror, wheel covers, front stabilizer bar and front seat belts.

Streetable. Those are headlight covers, also, SCCA required 4 seats, interior bits, and real glass.

I am renting space at a shop in Gulfport to do this resto-mod. That is making the wife extremely happy, as well as my uptight HOA neighbors. The shop is pretty complete, minus a paint booth.

I plan on picking up parts while I get the 1995 ready for sale within the next couple of weeks. Thankfully the engine, engine compartment and power front disc brakes are mostly done. Stuff I was going to do any way.

The car came with a bunch of parts, new and old so I am already well ahead of the curve. It's amazing just how much all those stupid little parts add up, like grommets, plugs, screws, weather stripping etc. I already scored some major CL parts that I needed, saving me 1/2 off and shipping costs (errrr truck-freight!).

He's an ass shot for you all.

Did something productive yesterday. Finally found some Ford 15" steel wheels for the back end. She sits level now, however that level is 13" at the rocker panels. Gotta add more lower (about 4"). Serviced the rear drum brakes, well, inspected them anyway. They are in great shape. Weekends are freeing up so I hope to get on this soon.

After reading Rob's posts I feel bad ignoring the new old muskrat...

Ask for Dom (his brother was just inducted into the NHRA hall of fame..Turbo Action transmissions)
