Newb! Class me up!

Signed up and paid for my first event in October! Im a noob just wanting to clarify my class, since I didn't know my class but wanted to make sure I got a spot I just put it under FUN.

I was hoping to get this figured out and put myself in whatever class I am supposed to be in. So my car is a 1997 BMW M3 with the only mod being coil overs and a e46 steering wheel swap. From my understanding coil overs would put me in an M1 class, correct?

any and all help is appreciated.

"Not Purple" would be a normal color. ;)

Yeah, M1 for the M3 on non-stock springs.

Do you belong to any BMW clubs / participate in club events?

Ok so how do I change from FUN to M1 in the registration?

Log into MyAutoEvents, go to the entry list for your event. Until registration closes, you can edit your entry.

Yes, it's Techno Violet. Not to be confused with the Daytona Violet on previous years.

Ben's right, it's not quite normal. In fact its rare and highly desirable.

I'm on the FSC BMW CCA and they just hosted an event at Brooksville last weekend. I missed (forgot about) the cut off for registration. There were a few people that went. Here's the thread: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1680

I'm not aware of too many BMW specific events / clubs other than FSC BMW CCA, and they do not do much outside of the occasional auto-x.

Let me know if you know of any others. I'm in Sarasota.

I usually don't like green cars, but Boston Green looks great on M3's...especially on Sedans. You don't see a lot of that color either.

Techoviolet is a sick color. Im not really a big fan of green cars either... and Ive never even been to Boston... I just wanted a M3/4/5 and its what came up.

Im excited and this year Im working hard at making time to participate in these events more often.

Love the color pallette on the E36 M3's. I had a 97 M3/4/5 in Dakar Yellow. Sorta stood out amongst the gray SUV's in the carpool line

Its funny how BMW would spin colors after a few years. Daytona Violet & Techno Violet. Fern green & Boston Green. Dakar was alway an interesting yellow...I almost bought a Dakar e36 M3. Now Phoenix Yellow...there's a color for the not-so timid. I loved it on the e46 M3, but my favorite of all time has always been the Laguna Seca Blue.
