275 35 18 Contis

Postby blacksheep-1 » Tue Dec 10, 2013 7:44 pm

OK the Contis are running at the ROAR, Daytona and Sebring, if you want any of these tires..let's see gas money about $125 per set of 4, I can get them if you let me know. figure delivery in mid Jan, early Feb and mid March.

BTW these tires are great for HPDE and other "track" days. Most will have maybe 3-4 heat cycles on them.

Rob - I'll send you a PM. A set of these would be great for a Chinn event or similar.

The tires from the practice in early Jan will be "not so good" the cherries will come from the race at the end of the month. (unless I luck into some)

Plenty they aren't even 1/2 way down like I said some have 2 heat cycles, I don't think any have more than 25 laps on them

If the price is comparable to the ones mentioned above, absolutely.

if you're serious I may have some after the 15th (sebring) do they have to be this EXACT size or do I get some leeway?

In the past, the Honda's ran the 225/45/17's, but I could go with a 235/45/17 or 245/40/17.

Thanks again, Rob

Off of 2 different cars but they have only 2 heat cycles on them, generally I try to keep sets together but it's not always possible..

Unfortunately not going to happen, the ST class cars apparently use those tires until the cords show, I've seen them run an entire race on one set. I checked with several teams and they are all a no-go, should I find a set, I'll pick them up but no promises..sorry
