Back at Tampa Bay Downs on June 14, Woohoo!

This is a Championship series event (one of only two remaining in the current season!), so it's open to novices and first-timers. We'll be including lunch this time, as well.

John Evans (yeah, That Guy) will be my co-chairman for this one, it'll be great! Quite possibly Epic! With John involved, it could even be Legendary!

Oh, and did I mention that registration is open? It is. And, though we haven't reached an event entry limit in a few months, the way everyone talks about Tampa Bay Downs events, this one could fill up! Don't get left out, go register!

ENTRY FEE NOTICE: Those who have been around for a while know that the standard FAST entry fee has been $30 from the beginning... 8 years ago. In that time, we've improved the club and its equipment greatly, SPC has nearly doubled their rental rates, and we've picked up a new autocross site at Tampa Bay Downs, which is even more expensive to rent than SPC. So, to avoid the complication of having different fees for events based on their location, we're raising our standard FAST Championship event entry fee to $35 beginning with this event. Our standard FAST Classic entry fee will remain at $45. And, as always, there are no additional "membership fees" involved with FAST.

I hope this means that John is cleared and back in the saddle again.

Sadly, John is still on medical hiatus. That just means he'll be a better event chairman since he won't be all bogged down with that "competition" thing!

I'm in. Fingers crossed the new wheels and tires arrive in time!!! May have a co-driver for the first time. I'll let him know on tuesday that registration is open to see if he's still in!

I got a stack of those myself yesterday, mines bigger.

Nice Les. Tim, the rears are stock size. I went one larger (245 vs. 235) on the front, hopefully to help a little with pushing. Excited to try out the Hankooks!
