What a FUN course!!! That course made me feel like a speed/crack addict. The start side was so fast through the widening slalom, after that the little 2 cone gap which if you set yourself up right was also fast. Then you got to keep going fast through the sweepers toward the turn around. Then more hauling butt after the turn around. A slight slow down for the left that was lined with cones and back to hauling butt through the wiggles. Man I killed those wiggles! After killing them and going so fast throughout the rest of the course I just refused to slow down for the last three offsets. I was like a crack addict that could not control himself. I looked ahead and I knew I had to slow down for those last three offsets, but I just said lets try and go faster than I know my car is capable of anyway. Just like a crack addict knows he should quit crack, but just needs another hit of that pipe. I just needed another taste of speed!!! If it weren't for that I would have been in the low 52's, but I don't care because like a junkie I got that one last speed fix! Oh sweet sweet SPEED!!!

Kudos to whoever designed that :notworthy: . Lets see some videos, photos, and results!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, the 14 Toyota FT86 [Scion FRS (Bill Cassidy)] should be in M2 not M3 (unless it's stock and he's bumping up in class).

This course was amazing.. I really wish I could have ran the afternoon also.

I know I left a lot out on the course but hope I didn't place to bad.

Learned that I should have been going straight through the "kinks" after the turn around, thanks to Cheney nailing it and showing me that she could go straight through in a g35. Who knows how much time I gave up.

Yup, very good course for Brooksville, offset slalom, nice crossover, interesting turn around, tiny sweeper, haring bone slalom, and a nice couple offsets to the finish. Many places that required proper placement of the car or you were/could be screwed. I lost time when I couldn't carry any speed through the turn around or the offsets before the finish.

Yup, that was noted, not sure if timing (Ron) got the memo though.

What a fantastic day for autocrossing! The usual thanks to EVERYONE for helping to make it happen!

I just got home. Got results in my pocket. Should I take a shower before I post them?

Just read Chris' first post again. I don't think I've ever seen him so excited about a course! Awesome. But, the course wasn't really fast (I drove a Corvette Club course last weekend... THAT was fast), it just FELT fast... which, as we all know, is BETTER than being fast, anyway.

Anyway, Results are up.

Man, what a great time! I finally managed to shake off my few month funk and got a podium in S2, and only .5 behind the professor in P1 (49.7 v 49.2 respectively) and major props to Rob for still beating me like always!

Big shout out to all the returning students from the novice school, you guys rock! Same goes for everyone I instructed in the morning, you're all awesome too!

He was a no-show, so it didn't matter. 8-)

It was an awesome course, but it was a bad day for me. I coned every stinkin run. The best raw time was good enough for first.
Then I hit one cone and took home third.

Had a great time today.

Learned that I suck marvelously at AutoX, that you learn a tremendous amount working the course, that the Corn Casserole at Hungry Harry's will change your life and that this is a great group of guys and gals.

Thanks for making my first AutoX and FAST event such a great day by being so welcoming and accommodating. Can't wait until the next one!

In Golf terms the front nine played to near perfection.

The back nine; however, played out like a golum with a white blind man stick if you had a powerful wide car.

Also. Now I know what Chris is on: "speed-crack". He beat me by .001 sec but my tires were fire "stoned" run flats from another decade. Probably the 70's when people last spoke of such things?

I apologize to Mike for filling his lungs with fairy tire dust at the start. I apologize to my underwear when the black algae destuck my tires on the return leg putting one tire in the grass after a full ABS test when I thought I found a new line thru there.

I further apologize to the button that chevy put on my console that turns the computer on and off for what I called it mid course having accidentally activated it on my 3rd run costing me 2 seconds.

I would like to thank those of you who put on the event so I could have a lot of fun with the new teenage toy. It's only a couple months until the new 200 tires will come out to play.

The Mayor

I have to thank Brian for suffering through the same condition I had today. I never thought that time would hold up for first in class. I'll consider this my christmas gift. I like getting gifts early.
